Bene Sushi is my favorite restaurant in West Vancouver. The foods are always fresh, especially sashimi. Rolls and some other foods are also good too. I like the rolls are big and other foods such as Udons and donburis are also big portions and delicious. The staff are very kind and the service is always friendly and fast. I enjoy dining here whenever I visit and it makes me want to keep coming back. The restaurant inside is very spacious and clean. If you are looking for a delicious and good quality food, I highly recommend here!

We have been to Bene a few times and the food could be decent at times. Today we went to Bene for lunch and we ordered 7 different dishes, however the Udon chicken soup was served with a very unpleasant smell and after all four of us trying to take a bite, it was impossible to tolerate the scent.
We shared that politely with the server and all they had to say was the chicken is fine and you have to pay for it!! I think they had this experience many times before cause they were ready with their response.
We asked for water and tea that took a very long time. The whole experience was unpleasant and unnecessary.

Pretty good cali roll and the aburi sockeye salmon was a generous serving for the price. The Cali and dynamite roll were generously filled and large with the dynamite roll having two prawns. Rice was nicely seasoned

First time eating here and our favorite sushi place that we tried in Vancouver (we tried 4 places this trip lol). Service was on point. We found street parking just under a block away.
We tried the Uni as my wife and I have never had it before. It was buttery smooth like everyone says but it tasted so incredibly fishy that we both hated it. Nothing against the restaurant for this, we understand that it’s probably preference 🙂
The toro was great. Not the absolute best we’ve had but better than most. The tuna and salmon was also top tier compared to other’s. The rolls were MASSIVE. Each piece took us two bites but I appreciated that they didn’t fall apart when taking two bites. The Ambleside roll was unique but incredibly well thought out. I loved it even though I don’t typically like yam.
Overall, great prices, great fish, great rolls. I would 100% recommend giving this place a try or even putting on your vacation agenda if you are just here for a couple days.

A really friendly smiling waitress served me. I ordered a delicious salmon and tuna poke, whereas I normally eat sushi but thought the picture looked appetizing. It did not disappoint! The crispy toppings are usually something I take off because it’s always overly fried but I was so hungry that ate it and it really made the dish even more yummy!
