Cute place, great staff and delicious food! I had a seafood paella and it was great. Huge portion. My friend has a chicken dish she enjoyed. We shared a flan that was fantastic. There was a large glob of caramel that took away from the presentation a little but very tasty and didn’t stop us from enjoying

Had a late lunch with friends and were seated right away because we were the only ones there. They were setting up for a special fundraiser event that night but our server was still good and attentive. Excellent Empanadas! Great lunch specials. Cute place on a corner with outside seating in the summer. The butternut squash and ground sirloin empanada were outstanding!
I would definitely return here.

Max waited on us and was very nice and full of energy. My wife and myself had the $90 Parrillada De Carnes (meat & vege platter) which was FANTASTIC!
Its almost enough for 3 people. Our first visit but for sure not our last. Highly recommend and the other tables next to us were also raving about the flavor. This is a downtown Palatine must. 5 star!

Great Homemade Argentinean style food. A mix between Italian and Argentinean dishes, how most of argentine families prepare.

Absolutely delicious food and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere! I had the Lomo con Champignones — the tenderloin was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For dessert, the Flan con Dulce de Leche was a perfect finish — smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness.
You can really feel the homey vibe and care in every detail. It’s a small, family-run restaurant, and the warmth and hospitality make you feel right at home. Highly recommend!

We visited Bendita Cocina in Palatine today hoping to enjoy a meal, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Despite the restaurant being only about 25% full, we were told we could not be seated without a reservation and would have to wait an hour.

The host who first attended us was dismissive—not rude, but clearly indifferent. Another staff member arrived later and was friendlier, even suggesting that the first host try to accommodate us, yet this resulted in a series of excuses rather than any real solution.

Ultimately, we left without eating. It’s unfortunate, but based on this experience, we will not be returning. The impression given was that the restaurant does not prioritize Latino patrons and seems to cater primarily to an Anglo clientele.

Professionalism and hospitality matter—this visit fell short on both.

Great steaks and pastas (if you like Italian you’ll like this place!), the atmosphere is great too, it feels like you’re at a homey family house and the service is also great everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I recommend the steaks (they really know how to cook medium rare) and the gnocchi is off the charts

We’ve been meaning to try this local Argentinean restaurant, and glad we finally did! We arrived shortly after they opened, and there were already a couple of tables enjoying dinner. By the time we left, the restaurant was full. Good sign!

My wife ordered and enjoyed her seafood pasta dish. I initially ordered Beef Bourguignon and was informed it was only available during Winter so I went with tenderloin which was delicious. Forgot to mention, our server brought out warm bread with butter which we thoroughly enjoyed. Main entrees were portioned generously and we were full by the end of dinner.

See photos of menus on which I highlighted our selections. Decor was appropriately themed with comfortable atmosphere.

Two dinner entrees, a couple of imported beers (Argentinean & Spanish), and a Coke brought the total bill to $117 ($97+$20 gratuity) so about average to good value.

Server was very busy taking care of all tables, and maintained his friendliness from greeting to end. We’re looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu.

This place is amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy. The desserts are my absolute favorites! It’s the perfect spot to relax, whether you’re alone or with friends. A special thanks to the owner, who is always welcoming and provided us with an outstanding service.

Called to ask for wait time, they acted as if they are very busy, and asked to make reservations. We were there in 20min. When we checked in, the restaurant was empty, one table outdoors and one table inside was occupied.

Ambiance is fine. Very clean
Bread sticks – fresh and very soft.
Salad- the best thing to have there. Very well made. Only reason if i visit again
Pizza- bland, and extremely cheesy.
