A small Vietnamese sandwich place. I stopped by around 2pm and barely anyone there. There was one other person there before me.
I ordered a small grilled chicken sandwich since the one I want to try (grill ed pork) is not available. The lady who prep the sandwich made it pretty quick. The price came out a little over $7.
The sandwich was ok. Tasted a little plain and doesn’t have as much flavor as the sandwich from Duc Huong. The bread was a little harder as well.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant. Firstly, the sandwiches are much smaller than what’s depicted by the restaurant. Second, my sandwiches arrived in an unsealed H&M bag for some reason, which is highly suspect.

Not sure if they changed ownership and quality recently (store front name is different as Bens sandwiches) im not a typical person to ever complain, BUT I only didnt this time because I didnt even open the sandwiches I until I was long gone from the location but the there was hardly any meat.. and the quality was something i havent experienced in any Vietnamese food here in San jose…not trying to bash them to hard, as I want any business owner(s) to thrive and be proud of what the serve but it was beyond poor…couldn’t even stomach finishing the rest and im pretty open to most food cultures and taste overall… lees as is OK and I expected this place to be above but it was far from that.. hate to leave reviews like this, but maybe the owners will take notes. They were kind and I do appreciate that but I can’t help and feel like it was to mask the quality of the food..

I ordered a cold cut combo for take-out on the kiosk. My sandwich was ready pretty quickly. I ordered a large for $10. What I got was very disappointing. The so-called large sandwich is only 6 inches long. It’s also barely filled with meat and veggies. The cucumber was also bitter. I would not recommend and would not return.

Pretty good banh mi spot. Prices have gone up. I think a large is like near 11 while a small is near 7. Enjoyed the taste tho and they have a few options that aren’t offered at other spots

Came on a Weds for lunch. Was fairly busy with to go orders. Friendly staff and quick service with outdoor eating available. Pork sandwich (#6) was delicious with a variety of condiments and delicious bread. Also ordered a peach iced tea that quinched my thirst.

First time trying this place, not impressed. Sandwich looked good, but the textures were all wrong, horrible in fact. The bread was very hard, like day old, or 2 day old bread, it was like biting into peanut brittle, ouch! is right, it hurt my gums. Sandwich was ice cold, like it was premade and left in the fridge overnight. The taste was normal, what is to be expected with ordering a combo, I got like 1 slice of a jalapeño which robbed my experience and expectations for a great Vietnamese sandwich. Nothing I will remember here except for uncomfortable experience. I’ll stick to what I know is great!

Really enjoyed the flavor of the banh mi pork.
Also was handed a fresh loaf of bread with the curry. The bread was delicious. The curry was watery, I think that’s just the style but LOADED with chicken. Seemed very healthy.

Avoid. I got some bread and a tea to go. While waiting for the tea, a cockroach crawls out of the bag. I left the bread on the table and walked out before the tea was ready.

Great food that I keep coming back to. Well portioned and great flavor. Definitely reccomend the pork! The bread is always nice and toasted and gives you that satisfying crunch when you bite in. And you can’t skip out on their drinks, Boba done perfectly and flavors that are sweet and refreshing. This place is perfect for a quick bite in between classes or study time!!
