Love our Ben and Jerry’s! They knocked DQ’s free ice cream day way out of the park!!! We got it go back multiple times for free ice cream scoops and I’m a family of 6! DQ made you download the app and make a purchase and THEN, you got your free cone BUT on a different day and on ONE free cone per family! It was our first time at this Ben & Jerry’s location. You’d think it’d be hard to screw up ice cream, putting asides one’s preferences for the availability of flavors and the style of ice cream itself. That having been said I had a small scoop of the Coconut Seven Layer Bar ice cream. Under ideal circumstances, I think this would have tasted good, but it tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. You just don’t want your ice cream to taste old.
The store is nice enough, seemed clean, and the person who took my order was also nice, though he did seem kind of surprised that we had walked into the store which was otherwise empty.
So not sure how quickly I’ll rush back here. At the very least I want my ice cream to taste fresh.
