Ben and Jerry’s has very tasty ice cream, but the price is ridiculous. They didn’t have prices on the menu and I only found out at the register that a shake and a sundae were around $24. I was shocked. At those prices I would expect Godiva chocolate or something very fancy. A fair price would have been maybe $8 for the product.

Every time I visit Tennessee, visiting this scoop shop is an absolute must. Top tier service from Kenzie and Becca, who strive to make genuine connections with their guests. The shop is clean, the cones are beautiful, and the ice cream is always delicious! I absolutely love the dairy free alternatives, and everything is better in a chocolate waffle cone. You truly are paying for the experience, and they deliver every time <3

I’ve been on this store twice and both times it was absolutely nasty. I’m not talking about floors needing a good sweep and mop, which they did. I’m talking about cobwebs from the light fixture over the pint ice cream cooler trailing down to the cooler. Windows wew covered in grime inside and out. The bathroom was positively 1970s gas station toilet. There was dried crud on the walls–clearly been there a while. The toilet needed cleaning. The window over looking the sidewalk had, at some point, been painted, but it was peeling off, giving me a clear view of the sidewalk. I can only hope no one saw in.

Smells heavenly inside. Like cinnamon buns. Great pit stop for a date before walking the bridge or going to the aquarium. Very family-friendly environment. Staff is super cool. I recommend trying every flavor.

Used to come to this Ben and Jerry’s all the time until I brought my dog and was asked to leave though nowhere is it posted or stated anywhere that they are not pet friendly. The above average sized blonde girl is the only person to ever say anything and then refunded my money in the middle of another staff member making my shake after I had paid and waited in line and then stood outside with my dog as I was asked by this same individual. Pretty pathetic you can’t get ice cream while walking your 50lb Australian Shepherd that is not aggressive and the most well minded and lovable dog you will ever meet. Will never return to this place and will make sure none of my friends or family support this business.

The ice cream was fantastic and the portions are good. The service was lacking though. No one behind the counter worked with a sense of urgency even though the line was to the door. The young man who was making our order was busy talking to the other girl who was making another customer’s order about the band’s music that was playing in the store (he knew all the songs, had grown up with them, would always listen to them, etc) and took his time with each item we ordered (he made 3 out of 4). I couldn’t help but notice that the girl he was talking to had a watch and bracelets that were covered in ice cream but continued making order after order without removing or cleaning them. Before we could finish ordering, the young man passed us off to someone who had just walked in who was sweet but needed a few minutes to find gloves and answer the phone before taking the last of our order – making our long wait even longer. Nothing says “I don’t want to be here” like bouncing out as soon as see the opportunity.

As a chattanooga local, I’ve been to most of the shops and restaurants in the downtown area, but I’ve only just gone to Ben and Jerry’s for the first time recently and I was very impressed!! The shop was very clean and my server, Kenzie, was very accommodating! She gave great suggestions and helped my kids pick the perfect sundae to split. 10/10 will visit again! Thank you, Kenzie!!

We went here, Ice cream was fine but it just really bothered me that I want to say, “Just sell ice cream and don’t spew your political garbage all over your parlor.” It’s written in here as well on the walls. Im done with all Ben and Jerrys they are too anti-American. If you spew your garbage, be prepared for feed back.
