My 1st time visiting this city and wanted to grab a treat to complete my day. As I enter store wasn’t busy and only one employee however he was cool. I like how the store is decorated, there’s plenty of seating available just like plenty of flavors and treats to enjoy. Restroom also available to customers just ask an employee so they can unlock it. I decided to go with the sweet caramel blondie which was delicious .

this place is lowkey a little scary- can’t tell which is worse, temple street or the inside of the store. two workers. one male worker was extremely rude and was annoyed to answer simple questions about the ingredients, I was expecting him to spaz out on me. ate my ice cream as quickly as possible.

Shout out to the manager Louie for keeping the place clean and orderly. I arrived a little after midnight with my three brothers about 2 weeks ago. We were celebrating our youngest 21st birthday and he along with his staff made us feel welcomed and provided exceptional service with a smile and truly set an example for all Ben and Jerry’s. We will be back for sure!

TL:DR; Branding over bite. This is exactly what you expect from a chain scoop shop with the same flavors you’d grab at the grocery store, just at a higher price and with less atmosphere. Nothing bad, but nothing special either.
The few times ive gone, before i knew better, it was “OK”. But New Haven has much better ice cream if you’re looking for something worth a quick walking trip. MilkCraft gives you a truly unique and fun experience if you want “twist” to your flavors, and Arethusa Farm Dairy is the real-deal local dairy with depth of flavor and freshness you won’t find here. I also don’t associate them with any odd political agendas making it an easy choice if you’d rather focus on truly great ice cream and service than a global brands messaging.

Literally pulled up at 12:03 I know it’s alil late but the hours are own till 1 but the doors were locked and staff ignored us as the door. If I could leave half a star I would. I get it we all want to go home but if you’re hours are till 1 then why are the doors lock that 12?
