I had such a great experience at this Ben & Jerry’s thanks to Cordelia (like Cornelia but with a D)! The vibes were immaculate from the moment I walked in. Cordelia was so kind, patient, and genuinely happy to help everyone who came in. She gave great suggestions, delivered some heartbreaking news about my favorite flavor being discontinued (with compassion ), and still managed to make me smile the whole time. Her energy was just amazing—so friendly and upbeat. You can tell she really cares about creating a good experience for people. 10/10, I left happier than when I came in. We’ll definitely be back!

A nice spot located in West Hartford center. I love the smell of waffle when I enter. They offer a variety of signature flavors as well as seasonal taste. The ice cream is rich. You can choose from a variety of waffle cone and topping types. Their staff are always friendly and helpful. Pricing is a bit higher than some of the other ice cream chains, but you get what you pay for.

Overall, Ben & Jerry’s is a great spot to stop by for a scoop of ice cream! it’s been a staple of W. Hartford Center for many years now, and I’m grateful that it’s maintained such a long-term presence. The staff are always friendly, kind, and very efficient! The price is a little steep, but so is everything in West Hartford these days.

Overall, there’s a good selection of ice cream! I consume only dairy free ice cream, and usually they will have at least 2 to 3 flavors. The selection of dairy ice cream flavors is more expansive, and they truly have something for everyone in terms of taste. Their shakes and smoothies also looked delicious as well!

Unfortunately, the line is usually extremely long in the summer. The last time I was there, in late June, the line stretched all the way out the door. There were only two employees working, and they seemed quite young. They were doing a wonderful job, but it looked like a lot to juggle. In the warmer months, it may be helpful to staff more people due to the sheer volume.

I wanted to mention something that occurred at my last visit that concerned me. The line was extremely long. The couple in front of us had two medium-large sheepdogs. The dogs were extremely anxious and nervous being in such a long line and in a small and cramped space. They were clearly not doing well. A staff member kindly asked the couple to bring the dogs outside. They were obviously not service dogs as they had no vest or badge and were clearly not trained to be calm in stressful situations. The couple then proceeded to lie and say they were service animals. The staff dropped it, but I feel that a sign may be helpful for the front door stating service animals only. It was uncomfortable to see these dogs in distress in such a small shop, they were whining and very anxious.

Just wanted to give my feedback! Keep up the good work (-:

Hi! Yesterday was my 21st birthday and at about 12 am I went to this Ben and Jerry’s and had the best experience ever. The workers there (one named Elizabeth) were so nice and friendly to me and my friends. I cannot believe someone would be that happy at 12 am but these two workers were. I love Ben and Jerry’s even more now! Thank you guys!

Delicious as always but it comes at a cost. $8.50 for a milkshake that costs more than what you can buy a pint of their ice cream for.

Ice cream was okay but prices are outrages. I ended up paying over $16 for 2 small ice cream sugar cones!! Not coming back to this place.

Good ice cream but no the best I ever had, and $8 per ice cream is kinda insane!

The day after the Fourth of July on a busy Saturday night and Lexie was by herself. She did an amazing job handling the stress of a line out the door along with door dash. Lexie’s service itself was 5 stars and kept a great attitude. But to see her being overwhelmed and brought to tears since she was alone even though there was a “manager” in the back not doing anything. I’ve been in retail for decades and would never have one of my employees in that situation. Poor reflection on the management team.
