Service is great. This is the best tuna melt I’ve ever had. I subbed the rye for sourdough and Swiss for cheddar. The sourdough has a parmesan crust on it. Adds fantastic flavor. I’ll def return.

Ordered a personal pan pizza. It sucked! Paid cash for a draft beer and got shorted 3cents. My first and last time here!

Cuban sandwich had mustard on maybe 1/4 of the sandwich. Pretty much ruins the whole Cuban sandwich experience. One bite nothing but mustard, another nothing but dry pork desperately needing that mustard. Tiny pickle spear was stuffed down in the crease of the sandwich, again only on one side.

It used to be great,. I ordered 3-4 times a week, but progressively over this summer the decline is sad. The Tuna Melt, my fav, used to be a treasure. Now, it’ s half the previous size, ice cold – straight from the frig-and a small slice of gelatinous cold cheese!
Service is sour and surly. Not even a smile.

Great Vibe and Service, but this is my second trip and second disappointment. I understand that things are expensive in the Valley, but I need some value for my money. NY is expensive too and if you order a deli sandwich there, you go home with half a sandwich leftover. Add tip and I’m in for almost $16 on a sandwich that I wouldn’t pay $2 for. When I picked up my To Go Hot Pastrami, the weight alone was a tipoff. I knew I was in for disappointment. I took all of the meat from one side and put it on the other side, so I only got half a sandwich and I still wasn’t satisfied. The bread was falling apart and the pastrami had a good deal of spit-out fat. I did call to let the store know and the person that answered was kind and courteous. A credit has been offered.

We stopped here for lunch while driving. It is a pretty decent stop for lunch and the outdoor tables are nice, but I don’t know if I would go out of your way to eat here. The sandwiches were pricey (~$9-12), but less than another sandwich shop close by.
The cheese steak (bread was nice and soft) and grilled cheese were good, but the side salad could have been better/fresher.

It is Thursday 5/2/24 at 231pm. Who ever is the cashier at this time was very polite, professional and kept this place in tip top shape. Very clean (not to say it is never clean). Impressed and I have been coming here for years. Keep it up!!

I feel a need to update my review after some time. With the new ownership this deli has changed. Some things are for the better, while some could be improved upon IMO. Perhaps I am still just bitter because they got rid of my go-to sandwich, but I have found a new go-to at least.
The deli is much cleaner now, they have improved the quality of some ingredients, but they have completely changed and combined the signature sandwiches into relics of what was once an excellent selection. BRING BACK THE OLD COMMENDABLE!!!! I will never understand why new owners that purchase existing businesses decide to change signature features, but it happens all too often. The key to a good NY Deli are signature sandwiches and a lot are gone now…. so that is my only continuing complaint. This is still the best deli around, and overall, it is better than before. I’m excited to see what the future brings for them.
