Everyone was so friendly and the food is some of the best country cooking we have had out in a restaurant in a very long time…the fish and chicken both fried were excellent we also had a great young man named Elijah to hold the door open for our group we were all on motorcycles and he loved all of the bikes . I looked up and he was smiling sitting on my motorcycle made my day .I have photo of Elijah if the owner will give me permission I would like to post the Picture…. This is a must eat place. We will definitely be back very soon.

Home cooking at its best! Definitely worth the drive from Aiken! Fried chicken, yams, Mac n cheese, catfish, greens, and more! Excellent family restaurant!! We’ll be back!!!

Really good pulled pork with a great wood-smoked taste. Doesn’t need sauce for a great flavor ! Choose mustard, tomato, or vinegar sauce. Good buffet. Chicken, pork chops, green beans, field peas, banana pudding, tea. Best yams and best rutabagas around.

The pulled pork was tender and had just the right amount of sauce on it. The hash and rice were amazing! I love hash and it was really good. And the macaroni was delicious as well. Everyone was really nice. I’ll definitely be a regular.

Good down home country cooking, casual dining atmosphere, friendly people. Smokey BBQ was excellent and good sweet tea too.

Food was pretty good. But for the price, it wasn’t worth the hour drive we made to try the place out. Staffs friendly and courteous. If I still lived in the area, I might would come back
