Stopped in for Sunday brunch with a couple of friends It was a little smaller than expected but the cozy ambiance made up for it. The gentlemen at the door who greeted me was very friendly. Our server was friendly, very attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal.
We ordered the Gumbogreens & cornbread, shrimp and grits and catfish and grits and 2 lemon drop martini’s.
* Gumbogreens 10/10 – perfection! Rich flavor and balanced seasoning.
* Shrimp & Grits 9/10 – comforting but a bit too cheesy for my taste.
* Catfish & Grits 8/10 – the catfish was well seasoned and fried crispy on the outside but seemed a bit undercooked on the inside. For the price, you only get one filet. Again, the dish was a bit too cheesy for my taste.
* Martini’s were good
The music was uncomfortably loud to the point we couldn’t hold a conversation and had to yell the server our order. When I asked if the volume could be lowered, the server politely explained that “this is our vibe.” I didn’t realize that they offered hookah. I guess I would expect this type of atmosphere during the late evening and not during brunch hours.
Overall, the food and service were great, ut the noise level and club-like atmosphere made it hard to enjoy the meal and the company of friends.

Went for the first time today, we had a reservation and the doors were still locked up to about 5-10 minutes after that time. I walked in was not greeted until I said HELLO! We were sat and our order was taken, it took about 30 plus minutes to get our food in an almost empty place to where I had to ask about it. I had the chicken and waffle which was ok, the chicken was amazing but the waffle was not hot when I got it. This is more like a social club and not a bistro so I was really disappointed but knew it would have been rude to walk in and right out so I thoughts let’s give it a try. Just not my type of place but would recommend to people I know that would love it. The young lady that served us was very pleasant and professional. I’m glad we went just not a place I’d return to.
OH not to mention the guy was mopping the floor while we were sitting in there, not just sections but the entire floor even by us.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while, heard good things about it and I finally did for my birthday. The service was great and the food and drinks was delicious and worth the price. I ordered the surf & turf, frozen lemon drop, and frozen pineapple dusse.

I was completely surprised when I walked into this place and it was such a lit atmosphere for brunch Saturday morning! I went with a group of five girls and we had a great time! We had a reservation and had no issues. We ordered a mimosa tower that was huge for $60 and we each order entrees that were to die for! I personally had the buffalo catfish and trust me, I left no crumbs! My cousins had the lamb chops, another had the steak, chicken wings and waffles and pork chops. Everybody loved their food, although I wasn’t terribly impressed by the grits. Overall, I will definitely return. Forgot to mention the DJ was amazing too!

Me and my cousin went here on a Friday after work at 4pm because it said online that’s when they opened. NOT!! The parking is basically little to none. Went in and the young lady at the bar said have a seat but it would be easier if we sat at the Bar. We didn’t want to eat at the Bar so we sat at a table.
So then she comes to the table and say that the kitchen just closed and won’t be back open until 5pm. I was pretty annoyed by this point so we decided to leave. I been waiting to try the food here for so long and then this. Maybe I’ll try again in the Spring because I drove from West Allis and had to park damn near a block away in 10 degree weather to end up with no food.

The establishment provided an exceptional experience. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff demonstrated excellent service. The waiter ensured timely food delivery, presenting each dish as it was prepared. She proactively offered drink specials, maximizing value for our party. Upon our arrival near the end of happy hour, our server recommended the happy hour wing special for my son, offering a more cost-effective and generous portion. We were promptly greeted upon entry, and the presence of a DJ and a bouncer enhanced the atmosphere. To celebrate my son’s birthday, the DJ played “Happy Birthday,” and he received a red velvet cake with a candle. We highly recommend this establishment and plan to return.

I visited Belli’s on 9/11 for my birthday. It’s a small venue with beautiful artwork. As we entered the restaurant, very loud music was blaring throughout. It was a bit too loud for casual conversation. This was a Wednesday night, which was karaoke night. I was excited about indulging in the food because I heard so much about this place, but was disappointed when the waiter stated that night was SIMPLE MENU NIGHT. This also occurs on Thursday night. I checked the website several times, and this was not communicated anywhere! I was disappointed!! The simple menu consisted of chicken, pork chops, or catfish and fries, and a chicken and shrimp Cajun pasta. The pasta was about $32, chicken $20, and the other options were $25. The parmesan chicken was delicious as well as the frozen pineapple dusse cocktail. The pasta was meh, very oily. Everyone’s experience is different, so try it for yourself. JUST REMEMBER the simple menu nights. My cousin visited and had a lobster dish and said it was fire. I included a picture. P.S. I guess on simple menu nights, the food is also served in a Styrofoam container. NOT the way I wanted to be served on my special day.

Our first experience here was not good. First, I thought it was a normal eatery but we weren’t expecting a lounge/club. The music was so loud we had to speak over the music to communicate with the waitress. We both ordered the Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta, it took 45 minutes and that was right before we walked out. The owner, was very kind and professional, he apologized for the inconvenience and gave us our meals on the house. The pasta wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either, the noodles were overcooked, the shrimp still had tails on them but the chicken was good.

We had a large mimosa for the table. I had shrimp and grits
I wish the tail would’ve been off when cooked. Needed salt and pepper and was a little dry. (Grits)
Good music. Good vibes. They walked around passing out tequila shots. Ima a brown liquor gal. It was a decent time for brunch though. We really kicked it
