In 1953 Lena Bell opened a small carry out pizza shop on Albert Street in Youngstown, Ohio serving only pizza. The shop was an instant success. The quality of the homemade dough and sauce combined with the finest meats and cheeses available set Belleria apart from any other pizza place in Youngstown. Within four years the word was out and the small shop on Albert Street could not handle the demand for this product. In 1957, with the help of her daughters Phyllis and Rose, Lena Bell moved Belleria to Logan Ave. The new location on Logan Ave was large enough to hold the equipment needed to meet the needs of their volume and also offered tables for a dining room. It was at this point that the true legacy of Belleria began.

Went for lent fish special. Fish is fried not battered. Fried shrimp was good. Portions were kinda small for the high price I thought. The first batch of French fries I received was hard and not cooked all through. I asked for a new basket which was much better but the fries are either cut too thick or they aren’t using the right the potatos. Will be back but not for fish

I have ordered from this belleria multiple times and have been very satisfied but this time I ordered 6 Garlic Parmesan boneless wings extra crispy but was served boneless Parmesan soup. Knowing that there is a staff shortage we called and were very kind and understanding. The women on the phone was very kind and was working the counter today! GOOD JOB TO HER!! But, then after we pick up our replaced order the cook staff must have thought it was “funny” to just put no sauce on it at all and put it on the side in a TUB! We shouldn’t have to toss our own wings. It was just an insane experience. Im incredibly disappointed.
