In general, I love having this place close by. They have some good breakfast sandwiches and I used to like the matcha latte. I will note that I just went and ordered one as usual and the barista there did not seem to make it as good as they had in the past. Instead of a nice smooth latte it was thick green sludge with big grains no hint of milk. I hate asking for things to be remade but it was undrinkable so I asked if there was something she could do. She quickly remade it and it was slightly better but still grainy. I think they are skipping the step where they whisk it into water to smooth it out. The frustrating part is of course I got some attitude for even asking, which I never do. All that to say….skip the matcha latte as there are better places to get that drink unless they train their baristas better on that drink. Otherwise, the other drinks have been decent.

Pay attention to the older negative reviews and note that even 2-3 years later nothing has changed. They charge $16 for a literal brioche bread, single piece of thinly sliced meat and a smattering of cheese.
Clearly they are coasting on neighbors who are just used to coming by and don’t want to change their routine, the proximity to the park and fake marble countertops because it’s a “vibe”.
No self respecting gourmand should visit this place until they either lower the prices or present freshly made food with obvious intent in tasting of value

This a cozy little place in Madrona, acting as a nice hole in the wall cafe to chill and get a nice cup of coffee. I especially liked their selection of confectionary items displayed in the front.
Overall, it’s a nice regional cafe with about average coffee.

Got a chocolate croissant and two macaroons. Really good price for quality. The seating and atmosphere was great and friendly staff. I sat around for an hour slowly eating and was never bothered, so that was nice. Everything good and clean! Amazing and tasty.

I’ve been here several times to give it a chance but it’s been disappointing every time. The location is great hence why I keep stopping by. The coffee is fine because you can’t really mess it up. Pastry prices are ridiculous, $6.75 for a mediocre an almond croissant is insulting. Plus the service is really slow. There were three people working and it took them forever to make two coffees. I asked about a raspberry almond and one person said “I don’t know. I don’t eat here.”

Nice outdoor seating area. I decided to randomly stop by since I saw their sidewalk sign. There is also some seating inside.
They have wifi.
The barista takes their time making drinks.
The pistachio pastry was a bit dense and a bit bland. If I am in the neighborhood I would come back but won’t make a trip for it. There is also a bit of construction on the road in this area.

New favorite: twice baked raspberry croissant. Also had a very successful birthday cake from their chocolate cake mix. My wife loves the shrimp dinner dish (frozen). Amazing selection of natural wines, particularly from small Chilean producers.
Just had the BEST macaroon from there!! Thanks!

First time came to this bakery. We ordered chai tea, almond croissant and quiches. Chai tea has too much form only half left. Many bake good selections. They have wine section where you can sit and enjoy your coffee.
