I visited this coffee shop in the late morning and stayed for about half an hour. I ordered an iced Americano, which tasted decent but a bit diluted compared to what I usually prefer. The atmosphere was calm, and there were a few people working on their laptops. The staff was polite, although the service felt slightly slow during that time. Overall, it’s an average place for a short stop if you’re already in the area.

I work nearby and go here often, but lately I am really struggling with this place. When their pastries are good, they are great. But lately, there have been hardly any pastries available during prime morning hours! If I go right at opening…minimal selection. Okay, maybe they need a little time to get the food out of the oven? But when I try go an hour later, still hardly anything! Today I got an almond croissant that was either quite overbaked or day-old. Almost inedible. The coffee is not great either but I don’t go for the coffee so whatever. I LOVE their ham and cheddar croissants, but half the time they don’t have any. Probably won’t be going here again at this point, because it’s not worth the money at this point.
The service staff is awesome and this is not reflection on them.

Great little bakery /coffee shop inside the lobby of 420 Madison. Over the last two days in have enjoyed a croissant ham and cheese sandwich, a chocolate tart, quiche, an Italian soda, and hot chocolate. The staff is great!

Hiding your “okay” health rating behind a standing menu certainly is… a choice.

The cafe is a little difficult to find since it’s inside a large building but the service was great. The atmosphere was nice as well, not too busy not too empty.

Out of town and was exited to try some baked goods. Got there at 7:15 and they weren’t even open or set up. Whomp whomp. Very disappointed.

Their ham and cheese croissant and sandwiches are some of the best breakfast options in this area of downtown.
Their new location in the 4th and Madison building is inviting and beautifully done, and the partitioned area to watch the bakers is a nice touch.

They post hours of when they are open. Then are not open during those hours. It was 50/50 if they were open last few months, but the last few weeks between 8-11am I’ve never seen their doors open.
I work in this building and after the third time going downstairs between 8-11am and their doors being closed back in January, I made it a choice to never go there again. And I make it a point to encourage coworkers to go elsewhere or if they suggest getting coffee/food there, I make it a point to make us go somewhere else.
It would just be nice if a business posted hours of operation and was actually open during those hours

This is a nice cafe. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This cafe’s only entrance is inside the lobby of a large office building, so one must walk through any entrance of the building to find it. There are tables and chairs for cafe patrons inside and outside the cafe. This cafe has numerous pastries and espresso drinks. I ate the chocolate croissant, which was a good croissant with a nice strip of chocolate in the middle. After eating I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this bakery five stars because it has good chocolate croissants in a beautiful office tower lobby.
