Without question, this was the best North Shore roast beef I’ve ever had when dining in. Not one element of the sandwich was looked at as an afterthought. I’m not sure what they did to the bun, but the flavor was outstanding, perfectly grilled and fresh. This was a very large beef, but taking bites was very easy because of how tender it was. Kind of mind blowing. Every bite was consistently flavorful at the perfect temperature. Not one bit of fatness at all. A sandwich tough to put down without finishing. Their attention to every little detail while managing a long line of customers is so impressive. This is the best of the best when it comes to roast beef.

The roast beef here is absolutely outstanding—probably the best I’ve ever had! The horseradish adds the perfect punch. My girlfriend tried the crispy chicken; she felt it could use a touch more seasoning, but she still enjoyed it. Portion sizes are truly generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. I can’t wait to try other items on their menu! If you’re craving roast beef sandwiches that stand out from the rest, give this place a shot—they won’t disappoint!

I drove an hour just to try a Beef here and it didn’t disappoint! Bella’s came highly recommended from a close friend who is a Northshore Roast Beef connoisseur. This was hands down the best I have ever had. The Beef was incredibly moist, tender and just melted in my mouth. The cheese was melted, the onion roll (have to get a super Beef to obtain this) was grilled perfectly and the obligatory James River BBQ sauce was applied generously. Perfection! We also ordered some fries (straight cut, no skin, perfect amount of salt) and Buffalo wings. The wings were also great! They were large, meaty and the sauce had good heat without destroying my taste buds. I cant wait to go back!!

Absolutely phenomenal! Bella’s roast beef hits it out of the park. The roast beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender and shaved just right true North Shore style. I ordered a three-way and it was perfection: heavy on the sauce, just the right amount of mayo, cheese on the bottom , all stacked on a fresh, crispy bun. Every bite was spot on. Hands down one of the best roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had!

The beef was ok above average but not my favorite., little over hyped, definitely not worth driving 25 miles for. People were nice if your in the area and need a beef yes, don’t travel more then 20 minutes

Outstanding. I’m from CT so I haven’t had a ton of these. I’ve had a north shore roast beef at Londis in Peabody and another place that I can’t remember the name of in Lynn. This is the best although Londis was very good. Perfect med rare beef, butter toasted bun was fresh, mayo and American cheese. Reasonable price. If I lived in the area I would come here weekly. Service was friendly as well.

Went for the first time today- had the Big Beef with sauce and mayo. 10/10.
Suggestions: The ladies room needs a hanger for purses/jackets and the place itself could use some plants or something… felt really bare in there and unwelcoming. Regardless though, the beef was phenomenal and the place looked clean.
