Nice decor & clean. Chicken Fried Steak was way over rated as was the Corned Beef Hash. Service could have been more attentive. The prices were high so we expected much more. The average meal price is around $15+

**Overpriced, salty but fresh food run by very nice people**
We stopped in this place during a road trip. We regretted going their after taking look at their very pricy menu!! It’s located in middle of nowhere and don’t seem like a fancy restaurant. We ordered the cheapest hamburger that comes with one sides and cost us like 13$. No idea why most of their soups cost more than 15$! The plain coffee was 3$ but pretty bland in taste. The burger, coleslaw and soup was fresh. However, they were very salty! Growing up in Bangladesh, I like salt, but even for me it was salty.
The best part of the restaurant is the server. She was super nice!! Also the food was served very quickly. The amount of food was good. It kept us fill for a long time, which was needed when driving in middle of nowhere!

I’ve stopped here a couple times while passing through Wells. It’s kind of a little oasis out in the middle of nowhere. The food is very good and plentiful the lone waitress/owner very pleasant and accommodating. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it. The coffee is very good and they have an extensive list of specialty coffees too. I say well worth the stop

I felt a little misled by the menu. I selected an 110z chicken fried steak that was described as Chicken fried prime rib I could cut with a fork. It looked like a fried hamburger but it was good. The portions we’re generous. The waitress was very attentive. I bought some souvinirs mugs and chocolates. When I went to pay and asked if I wanted to leave a tip (I’m always a good tipper) she codnt remember how much my meal was and kept telling me my total. I’m sorry but I’m not tipping on the souvinirs. So I guessed. Low. Not fine dining but it is associated with the local legal bordellos so it was interesting without having to go to the bordello.

Normally I’d love a place like this. And I understand that times are tough. But I don’t believe that was homemade bread. And for $16 a B.L.T. should be fresh.
It was large. The lettuce and tomato seemed fresh. But the bacon must’ve been fried up yesterday. I feared for my dental work to chomp through it.
The omelettes at the neighboring table looked good.
Speaking now strictly from a business perspective, this place has no competition. If you want to sit down and eat, this place is the only choice. The claims were big – homemade bread and so on. But the SYSCO truck was unloading right outside.
I also would usually ask what is best, but here a burger could set you back $25, so I figured how can you screw up a $16 B.L.T.?
I guess I found out.

Not impressed. Decent food (for the only spot in 50 miles) but over priced. Friendly enough, just really miffed at the 4% upcharge for using a card.

We stopped in with high hopes but were let down. Service was friendly but just alright. Food was just meh and received incorrect. Felt portions were a little small. I thought my French toast was okay, my SO disliked his Belguin Waffle. Coffee was fine, they have lots of flavors to add in.

This place!!! Definitely one of my new favorites!! It is a home grown, happy feeling type of place! The atmosphere is healthy and open, the people are friendly and the food! Oh the food is spectacular! Shaunia the owner, has run this fantastic little restaurant for 22 years! She works it with her daughter, and they are a great team! They had to close for 5 months during the lockdowns, but they are back up and running! If you are in the area and want a home grown meal cooked by a locally owned restaurant, you really need to stop by this little slice of heaven! Btw, they use trip advisor so be sure to leave a review!

Stopped in for breakfast after spending the night nearby. It was okay. She had the veggie omelet which was good and large. I had the huevos rancheros which was good, but not what I was expecting. No beans.
