Second time ordering from here. The first time was fine, however this morning I ordered half an Italian hoagie and a bag of popcorn and upon getting to the beach to eat it I noticed it is expired and the bag also appears damaged. Thankfully I took one bite and spit it out immediately but something is very wrong with this popcorn clearly as it is expired.

* UPDATE: 7/20/2025 attempted to call four times and I was hung up on after the hold sequence around 11:20am. The refund offer is nice however, if I can’t get a hold of the store then the refund will be difficult to obtain. The hoagie was wonderful, but the expired product and refund attempt has not been a good experience. *

My husband and I went for the sunrise by the beach, and around 7:30am were looking for a breakfast place and we were really surprised of the limited options, luckily we found this cute breakfast place with a nice variety of different breakfast sandwiches, omelets and bagels, I got a delicious sandwich and my husband had a omelette, everything was delicious and the customer service was great, the only complaint is they could clean and organize better the tables and chairs outside, i had to clean my table and chairs but besides that we were really happy to find this cute restaurant

Good bagel place in a high tourist area. Bagels are excellent, service is adequate, and prices are what you’d expect in a tourist area. Bagels priced right, but coffee drinks a bit high.

I am a regular customer for about half the year. I love it in September and October, but still not overly friendly customer service.

Great bagels and the best coffee I’ve had in a long time(strong) . There is no indoor seating, but there is some outdoor seating. This, however, is without shade .

Parking might be tight during the summer season. A bit too far from the beach for a convenient walk. So stop by first via car or bicycle and then drive to your favorite beach.

We’re coming back to try the donuts and other pastries soon also.

I discovered this gem last year and make it a regular hangout for morning coffee, breakfast sandwiches, sinful desserts and great lunchtime sandwiches. Always excellent quality at reasonable prices. And they currently participate with Too Good to Go, so at closing time there are options for yummy baked goods and/or bagel bonanzas!

Fast, friendly, and quality breakfast sandwiches like sausage egg and cheese (SPK) and a bagel with cream cheese and lox. Whether you call it Pork Roll or Taylor Ham, they have it here and it’s delicious.

Any Seaside Park eatery offering Boylan’s premium soda in glass bottles is an icon for higher quality food and Bella’s is no exception. Bagels and breakfast sandwiches were swell with better proportions of meat, egg, and cheese than is typical these days. Ask for the tasty consistent cheddar instead of American cheese on your breakfast sambos.

The tea selection is mesmerizing and I’m driven to come back and try all of them.

Prices are quite reasonable and 10% less than the nearest competitor.

As little as a Half dozen bagels gets you a discount— so I got more than the 2 we needed. Cream cheese tubs come in 1/2 pound and 1 pound. TREMENDOUS bagel selection including salt, “everything”, and my personal favorite— wheat everything— was in rare thick supply. New Yorkers shouldn’t expect a NY style bagel, it’s close but has its own New Jersey beach identity.

There’s a selection of donuts and some other pastries as well, and it APPEARS all are made on premise (i didn’t ask and didn’t see any signs)

Order was quickly taken, rapidly processed in good time despite a small line at 09:45 on a Wednesday in June. They’ll give you a number and listen for it outside on a bar stool or table. Call ahead for more rapid pickup, but sometimes they’re too busy to pick up phone so you might have to wait 5 and try calling again. (I just went there). Google maps also offers some online ordering options if you’re used to that.

To get to 5 stars they’d just need to advertise their ingredients as organic or better— like they’re kindve already doing with their tea bar.

I’m a customer almost every time I’m in town. Good place to hit on way home from a jog or walk— easy to find with ample street parking. Heading south after the bridge it’s quickly on your right, so a convenient stop for those first hitting the island in either direction. Perfect geographical stop before getting to Island State Beach Park entrance to its South.

After this post I think you will find Bella’s improving as they’re more attractive spot than they were just a couple years ago when I first tried them— so the owner is constantly improving and that’s all one can ever ask— particularly for a place growing up in a town that’s been moving up for the past couple decades.

I’ve not yet fully explored the menu but will keep trying new things if i’m in town.

Owner gets high marks for his responses to some of the impatient saucy reviews, which shows he’s on top of his joint— in a business that’s not easy to run. Not sure, but I believe you might see him listening to your order in the back getting a jump on it.

On my gosh, what an AWESOME place for breakfast and lunch. We have season passes for IBSP and like to stop and get a sandwich to take with us. Not happy with our last sub place down the street, we decided to stop at Bella’s. What a good choice. We stopped the second day and the great service and totally awesome food was the same, that’s how you know that is their high standard of quality. This is now our new regular STOP! Thanks Bella
