Dessert was just as impressive and a great way to end the meal. It felt intentional and well executed rather than an afterthought.
The service truly stood out. Laila and Karly were welcoming, accommodating, and very helpful from the moment we arrived. Our waiter, Juliana, was world class. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable without ever being intrusive.
Great food, exceptional service, and an atmosphere that reflects pride in what they do. I will definitely be returning.
Food was very tasty and flavorful. Cajun pasta was star of the show, loved it. Their pizza was great too, totally different from chains. Even their complimentary bread was very good and fluffy. Wonderful staff and great place.
Price might seem a bit high but they do complete justice with their quantity. Will come back soon.
The whole thing was done well, great service and the staff brought the cake and lit the candles. Nice touch.
So from an experience point of view… fantastic!
And now the food. Super delicious. I am still thinking about how much I loved my entree and the other guests loved their selections as well.
I am very glad we came here. Thank you to the entire staff!
The food is great, especially their garlic bread, soft, fluffy and airy, and definitely check out their happy hour if you can! We got the mussels and Italian meatballs and both were great, but our favorite was the salsa verde salad with crispy pita bread. The salad was so refreshing, tangy and delicious, highly recommend. My top favorite item.
For entrees, pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente! I was a fan of the lamb bolognese, creamy and rich. The rigatoni de carne had plenty of proteins, the tomato sauce is tangy but on the sweeter side though. Lastly, you have to get their cheesecakes, not too sweet and a must try!
Service was always on point. Servers were all super attentive and friendly. Food was sent out with the right timing, no complaints!
This review praises Bella Vita, an authentic halal Italian restaurant in Manassas, Virginia — a refreshing change from the usual Desi or Middle Eastern halal spots. The ambiance, service, and food are top-notch and surprisingly affordable.
My wife’s knack for finding new places, made a us visit the place and we had reservation for a Friday night visit. We were warmly welcomed and reassured by the staff (non-Desi but very knowledgeable about halal) that all food is halal and cooked separately with no alcohol used.
We enjoyed unlimited garlic bread buns and ordered a variety of dishes including:
• Tortellini Milano
• Chicken Florentine
• Sirloin Risotto
• Large Supreme Pizza
Everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully plated, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The staff was attentive, respectful of halal requirements, and enhanced the overall experience.
Verdict: A must-try halal Italian spot with delicious food, great ambiance, and exceptional service — far more authentic than chain places like Olive Garden.
Overall we had a good experience dining in at this place. Food ranged from excellent to should not have ordered it. The ambience is excellent with some nice decor and furniture giving a good upscale vibe. Was very happy with interior.
Service was definitely a 5 star. Everyone seemed happy to be working there, had a smile on their faces, very polite and helpful. It goes a long way when the service is a 5 star.
The food for the most part was excellent. We ordered calamari and buffalo wings for the appetizer. Calamari could have used a little less salt but it was fresh and flavorful that we didn’t mind a little extra salt. Buffalo wings were just WOW!!! Fresh, piping hot and floating in the buffalo sauce. The fresh, warm garlic buns were mouth watering.
For the main course, we ordered Tortellini Milano, Butcher Shop pizza, chicken Alfredo and Chicken Marsala which came with fettuccine Alfredo. For the pizza and Tortellini Milano, I will give a 4-4.5 stars. The other two dishes probably a 2 star because of the Alfredo. The Alfredo pasta and the sauce was tasteless and had no salt. I am not even saying less salt, it had no salt whatsoever. My son and I kept adding salt but it only got to a point where we had to say, it is what it is, things happen and everyone being so nice, let’s just not say anything. The chicken in Chicken Alfredo was basically just boiled strip of chicken and the sauce was very liquidy. The chicken Marsala was decent but not great.
Will we go back? Yes, as most of the things we ordered were really good. Will I order the Alfredo again? Probably not!!
