If you’re looking for a fast, friendly, and tasty Italian spot in Kingston, Bella Vita is the place to go! The atmosphere is wonderfully homey, and you can tell it’s a favorite among the locals.
The service was incredible—our wait staff was incredibly fast and friendly from start to finish. I ordered the pasta sampler (lasagna, manicotti, and spinach ravioli) and it was completely delicious. You also can’t skip the rolls; they are buttery, garlicky perfection.
The salad was great too, generously topped with a lot of mozzarella cheese, lettuce, and baby tomatoes. (It would have been absolute perfection with a few green olives, but it was still fantastic as-is!)
My only minor critique is that the music could be a bit more Italian-focused to really match the vibe, but that definitely isn’t enough to lower my rating. All in all, an awesome local spot for great Italian food.

We enjoyed having a nice meal with cocktails and wine. They bring out garlic rolls as soon as you sit down that are amazing. The food was hot and fresh when arrived and the service was excellent. It is nice to have a restaurant like this in the area. We will definitely be back.

Our first time in. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The bread that comes out first, yum! We had tea that was very good. Our Chicken Parm and the chicken Alfredo, both were delicious big portions, served hot. We also ordered a pizza to go, for lunch tomorrow. Judging by the look and smell, it will be just as delicious. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. They were playing soft Christmas music as well. Nice atmosphere.

If you want real tasting Italian food, this is the place to go. It is so good. I love going here never had any problems whatsoever with their food. It’s always great and their fresh baked bread. Oh my gosh, it is so good!!

We went there for are 40th anniversary. Service was good they set up a nice table for us, with roses and a nice tablecloth. Food was good, creamy sauses were similar to each other. We were put right next to the bar, it was a bit noisy. All in all we would recommend.

We absolutely Loved it! The waitress was very friendly and helpful with a great personality. The Chef/owner even came to our table to help figure out the perfect plate for me, making me a special order. It was amazing. This will be our new date night spot! Highly recommended for young and old.

I don’t where to start but we start with the good things I met a older lady who looks like the chef she was very nice as told me the pizzas where amazing and there are I took my order to go 2 large pizzas 2 entrees and a soup and the smell was amazing so my expectations where definitely high when I got home I saw my food I realized that both of my pepperoni looked liked a cheese pizza there was a small trail of pepperoni but in total I could like 7 lil spots of pepperoni but the taste was pretty good not Amazing but better than “simple Simon’s ” my wife order a regular spaghetti and I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The disappointment was there chicken was chewing in few places my wife’s spaghetti was pretty dry on the tomato sauce over all I would say if u want some good take out food for the night yea it’s pretty good but i say you can find better in durrant for sure

Normally, I don’t care for many Italian dishes. I don’t like tomato sauce. Alfredo is too rich, and I don’t like all the cheese.
I do like Chicken Picatta. The server asked if I like mushrooms and artichokes. I advised that I do, and she recommended Chicken Siciliano. It was excellent!
The chicken was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were beautifully prepared in a light, delicious sauce served on a bed of pasta. The serving size was twice what a normal person could eat!
They serve yummy fresh garlic yeast rolls while you wait for your food, which arrived very quickly.
I can honestly say, “I DO like Italian food!” I met the chef and owner, and he is top notch! He is a very kind and h humble man.
I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the table and chairs are in need of some repairs or reupholstered. Decor is otherwise cute.

Amazing food! They can alter almost anything on the menu gluten free and have special gluten free penne in place of regular noodles. Oh. My. Gosh. The gluten free chicken pomodoro was AMAZING. The absolute best Italian food I’ve had since 2004. My husband is not GF and he was thrilled with the chicken piccata.When we left, almost everyone in my family group of ten was raving about their food–even the one in our group who doesn’t like Italian food! Note: he did NOT get pizza– he got an actual authentic meal.

Chicken gnocchi soup was the best we have ever had! The chicken tortellini alla panna was absolutely delicious! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Salads were cold and made fresh.
