So on November 26, 2025 me and my wife went into Bella Napoli off the Post Rd in Milford. We were greeted by a miserable, quite grimly personality. We wanted to sit in the dining room, but was advised that the dining area was closed 20 minutes earlier, which I can understand. My wife and I decided to take something home instead. On deciding what to eat we seen the monitors on the wall behind the cashier that advertised “Monday thru Thursday Large Cheese Pizza for only $13.95 plus tax”.
So we went with that and cheesy curly fries to go. The cashier said the total was $26.30. I didn’t pay any mind to it, payed and asked for my receipt, as I always do. To my surprise the cashier charged me full price for the pizza, oh was I furious. I was not going to make a scene, I held my composer and decided to wait inside for our order. When our order was ready I decided to double check cheesy curly fries to make sure it had cheese on it because the previous time which was around 2 weeks early I had ordered cheesy curly fries and decided to eat inside. Guess what I didn’t see, the cheese on top of the curly fries. This was the second time that they had forgotten to put the cheese on the curly fries.
The funny thing was every time I ordered the cheesy curly fries they had to verify that I indeed ordered it and remedied the order. Of course as soon as they realized they made the mistake they corrected it and the cheese was put on top of the fries. I didn’t say anything about them charging me full price for the pizza because I want everyone to understand why I chose not to tip. Had the cashier paid attention instead of being stuck in his feeling and been in a more pleasant mood I probably would have been more understanding with the situation. Maybe he was trying to get one over on me and get more money for Bella Napoli, I don’t know. Either way I was ultimately disappointed and frankly frustrated with this location for the second and final time.
If it means anything at this point the Stratford location is a better option then this Milford dump.
Now am I wrong for how I reacted or do you think that I went easy on them?

Went here on a Friday night recently and this place really went downhill. Super stale garlic knots, under cooked, no flavor pizza. What happened?!
Original review: It would have been a 5 but once in a great while, it’s hit or miss. It was definitely a hit tonight. They have the best, most affordable prices of all the pizza places I’ve been to recently, good crisp on the crust and great all around taste. The cheese pizza was better than the pizza with the two toppings. A large cheese is only $14 ($12 if you pick it up Monday-Thursday) and toppings are only like 2-3 dollars (I believe), when most people charge like $5. Pizza held up great on the 20+ minute ride home and was still delicious hours later. Definitely check this place out.

Bella Napoli was spectacular! From the minute I walked in Chris greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. Jacob seated me and waited on me and his energy was infectious. I ordered the white Hawaiian pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The best pizza I’ve had in CT aside from the major New Haven locations! Please come check Bella Napoli out, this is worth your visit!

I have never eaten inside, only ever pick up. Ordered my partner a pizza while he was at work and some rice pudding. He went to get it and grabbed another rice pudding for a coworker. Guess what? Moldy pudding. When he called to tell them and ask for a refund, they said sorry and he’d get his money back. Still haven’t seen the money. One, disgusting. Two, make it right. Personally, the food isn’t even that good. The pizza is sub par, and any pasta dishes are absolutely the worst ive ever had so we only get the meh pizza. literally only go there cause its close. So now, not going ever again. Tootles!

Been going to this place for years, price has been relatively reasonable and food has been fantastic. Anyone who criticizes this place is a Grade A Fool and has never had good pizza in their life. They are typically used to “New Haven Pizza” (CHARRED) and like waiting over 80 minutes for the most mediocre slice of slop ever produced. Bella Napoli’s just does not dissapoint in terms of flavor and consistency. Also the dining area is great. Definitely come!

I ordered 5 boxes of different pizza for a large group of my drivers. When I order it was close to closing. They treated me with respect and was understanding for not having an exact location. When the pizza arrived it was hot and ready for the guy. Well worth the money. The guys couldn’t wait so I can take this picture. I was only able to capture two slices lol.

The place went downhill, the pizza has had plastic pieces in it recently. Can hurt a tooth or mess up your intestines. They don’t really care, they asked if it was from a few days ago so this is obviously an ongoing problem they don’t care about. Along with the fact they often will add toppings to pre cooked cheese pizzas, resulting in a old and stale tasting pizza. Anywhere else is a better option

Pizza is ok a little greasy from the cheese they use. I sop it up with a napkin. food is good. They have a deli as well so all your bases are covered. I do love Jimmys Apizza way better but this place is ok. Plenty of parking. Outside eating. Pick up or delivery. Jimmys doesn’t deliver. People are friendly and they run some pretty good specials. I have had very good sandwiches from the deli, the pizza. And chicken and eggplant parmigiana which was pretty good.
Not a bad place to try. They also have two locations.

I love the pizza so I was very disappointed when I got my order tonight. Honestly it must depend on who is cooking. I ordered last night large cheese extra sauce and well done. It was perfect. Wanted another tonight and it was drastically different. Delivery driver must have been trying out for nascar because the cheese and sauce were all over the place. The pizza has extra cheese not sauce the garlic Parmesan crust has barely and on it. I was really looking forward the the pizza I had last night. Alas I was left very dissatisfied.
