Definitely an awesome spot in the eastern shore! If you’re driving through on your way to the beach or if you just live out this way, it is 100% worth the trip!!! Staff is super great, too!! The value on the pizzas are awesome, as well. We also grabbed a house salad, with house dressing. The house dressing was sort of purple creamy house dressing. It was a little surprising and different than other house dressings. I was a little leery, but man it was good. You should get it!!!!

Wonderful food! Best pizza we’ve had since we were in Naples, which is where Sal is from. Sal’s is the real deal. Authentic Italian food in a casual setting, with a warm welcome. Not just the wonderful pizza, everything is great. Soup, salads (the Caprese is amazing), main courses. Pass up the chains and get the real thing, served with a smile.

Sal’s Pizza in Denton MD is a must for all real pizza lovers. This is authentic Italian pizza not retail chain pizza. Sal works 24/7, well at least every time the store is open he is there with a smile. The place stays busy and great cheery atmosphere. If you haven’t given them a try before be sure to stop in and prepare for pizza bliss!!

Absolutely love their pizzas. We’ve tried the subs and pastas, you just can’t go wrong. Everything is made to order, it will take time, but it’s always worth it. Great staff, family owned/operated. Highly recommend!!

The appetizer was very tasty, a new wonderful, freshly made treat, and really flavorful. The house salad was a REAL salad with a delicious, creamy balsamic vinegar dressing. We had lasagna and Fettuccine Alredo and both were VERY good. Even the toasted garlic bread was buttery and scrumptuos! It was our first time here but we will be back soon!

The food here is awesome!!!! My favorite restaurant in Denton Md!! The environment is so welcoming and the staff are pretty cool. The waitress Misty does an excellent job handling the heavy flow of customers in and out of the restaurant. I love this place!!! Sal cooks with L O V E❤️❤️❤️!!!

My husband and I took my dad here for lunch. They sat us pretty quickly, the waitress came asked us our drinks and food we would like 5 minutes later we got our drinks, they were gross.. very nasty flat surup taste. Then 10 minuts later we got our fries then we recieved our garlic knots (they were delicious) then 10 minutes later we received our cheese pizza. A table near us that was here longer than us were still waiting for their pizza and the waitress told them they fell behind on pizza orders. I felt bad for those little kids. The only bad thing about our time was the drinks (pepsi) were gross, the plates we received were still dirty, and we watched them take a dirty table and transfer all the stuff on that table to another to clean that off and 3 minutes later, do it to another table next to us and food fell off the plates…overall really good food, great decor, temperature was great (not too cold and not to hot). Would come back here again.

OK. I previously gave this place a 5 Star rating from the three times I was there before. But had the WORST Mother’s Day experience ever there. My son took me there on Sunday evening for Mother’s Day. We arrived just before 6:30. It was busy but we were seated right away. The minute the waitress showed up, our experience became terrible. My son ordered garlic knots, and I ordered the linguini with clam sauce. NOT exactly major problem items. A family of five came in 10 minutes after we did. 10 minutes later, they got their garlic knots and appetizers. 10 minutes later, we finally got ours – BURNED. They brought my son his pizza at 7:00. It was plopped down on the table with one plate. At 7:15 he asked for a box. She brought the box which was too small for the pizza, and just scooped the pizza into the box and walked away. At 7:20 (we had been there 50 minutes) the waitress came by and said, “did you get your salad yet?” I said no. She brought my salad a little later, and plopped it down in front of me and walked away. At 7:40 she came by again and just said my linguini would be coming soon. And just grumbled, “the orders come from different parts of the kitchen.” At 7:45, when we had been there almost 1-1/2 hours and my son had finished eating over a half hour before, she brought me my linguini. I just told her to bring me a to-go box and we left. Overall, the service was TERRIBLE that night. My entre came 1-1/2 hours after we arrived. And the waitress had an attitude all evening with no real apologies, no offer of anything to make up for the late food and service, and we were never offered dessert. Just the check when she brought me my box. My son was furious as he said he did NOT want that to be my Mother’s Day experience.

First off, they don’t have their menu online, like come on. Second, they double charged me without notifying me! I asked for extra hots on my sub, and they never mentioned on the phone that it cost extra; nor does it say that it’s extra in the first place. It was semi-busy and we still had to wait an extra 15 minutes on top of what we were told we were going to wait. When we get home, both people that got salads continously said how watery all the lettuce was. Just so I say one good thing about this inconsiderate, weird smelling narrow spaced place, their side meatballs are huge; that being said, I will most likely never go back to Sals again.

We stopped here for a quick bite on the way to the beach and ordered wings and spaghetti and meatballs. The food did not disappoint. I could not get enough of the sauce and the meatballs were delicious.
