The place looks great, has a lot of personality all around. The staff are kind and welcoming, they are fast at what they do, too.
I think anyone coming in for a quick bite or a nice meetup would appreciate this quaint atmosphere.

Would come again.

This is WAY more than a coffee shop. A big menu & table service. Very friendly & creative – they were happy to sub grilled for the crispy chicken wrap special, which had lots of grilled chicken. It came with a remlaude sauce that’s New Orleans good. Do get the fries: they’re perfectly crispy & well seasoned. A great traveler’s stop. Nice, very clean restrooms. Cute decor. They have Dijon mustard.
They have wine.

Fantastic breakfast! The coffee (black and lattes) was delicious. She’s a great cook and uses really good ingredients. She packaged the meal up to go for us and the kids loved it.

A few days ago my wife, 8 week old puppy, and I were in a pretty serious accident on US-20 near Burns. We were 4 hours from home. The staff of this cafe let us come in with our puppy, sit, plug in a laptop, make endless insurance calls and sort out how we would get home. They helped with tow truck info and other local services. They brought a water dish for our pup and treated us patience and an abundance of kindness. I can’t exactly remembered what we ordered, but in that moment I know it was the best breakfast I had ever had.

Halfway to Boise from Bend lunch in Burns at Bella Java. The place was so clean and open. Right away, we knew we had to order the burger special. This is a classic diner and we could smell the delicious aroma of grilled burgers when we walked in. They also had gorgeous homemade baked goods at the counter so of course, we ordered a decadent chocolate cake to take with us. So we both ordered the burger special and scarfed them down, delicious!! We scored today on our first trip through Burns by finding this place. Delicious food at a reasonable price point with super friendly family-style service. Stop and support local. These folks are great!!

Portions are TINY on the specials, don’t waste your $ IMO. Food is always WAY too salty as well. Smoothies aren’t great. Starbucks at Safeway has better smoothies & that ain’t saying much. Staff is nice though.

Excellent breakfast scramble and coffee. It is open!! Despite the construction, just enter through the front right side! Great locally made gifts and Burns momentos.

Great place to stop for a quick bite if you are going through Burns, OR. They were able to easily accommodate our Vegan and Vegetarian preferences. The staff are super friendly. Only had a salad, but the drink menu looked amazing! (They offer Almond Milk as well as a substitute.)

The service was friendly! I had a really good iced mocha with cinnamon and a breakfast burrito. I was able to sit outside with my dog.
