Pretty okay place. Dining area feels artificial with cold lighting and a view of a parking lot, plus the ambient music comes with generic advertisements, which detracted from the experience. Our waitress was polite and kind to us, seating us immediately. The food was okay and made my stomach happy.

Wife and I got the $53 “chefs surprise” each and we left disappointed. The appetizer was grocery store charcuterie, the protein (chicken and fish) was mediocre at best. The ravioli we got was decent. Overall we left disappointed. Perhaps we should have just picked the items ourselves.

I won’t be back. And it’s all in the service the waitress and server where generally rude so I felt very unwelcome here no smile no nothing didn’t even check on us, they shoved us in a corner and forgot about us. Food took forever I got the spaghetti and meatballs and wasn’t good I felt the noodles where not cooked thoroughly and the sauce was runny. The prices didn’t match what was served. So after all this we just won’t be back better off making my own spaghetti at home.

Last night I visited Bella Italia and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Their menu is extensive and for my entree I chose their manicotti. It is stuffed with ricotta and spinach and served with a generous topping of cream sauce.
I also selected their insalata della casa (house salad) which was light and tasty and perfectly seasoned with their own homemade oil and lemon dressing. The salad was embellished with nice wedges of mozzarella crowned with a slice of ham.
I asked Chef Jose for a wine suggestion and he picked Monteverro di Vermentino, a delicious white from the vineyards of Tuscany. It was a perfect match.
If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine then you can not find better Italian fare than what is made fresh and served daily at Bella Italia.

Like previous Google guides have stated, Bella Italia is kind of sparse on the interior decor. Actually it is a little cluttered. There is a table right in front full of menus, balsamic and oil dispensers, packages of pizza and bread mix, and parmesan cheese dispenser. Also as another reviewer described, the bread came out in a paper hotdog tray like a fast food joint uses.
There were only two people in the front of the house. It appeared to be the owner (his picture is on the wall) and an older woman. They seated, took orders, delivered food and bussed. I felt sorry for them as the place was more than half full. Maybe 7 tables were occupied. Of course the service was not the best.
We ordered a pasta carbonara, pasta fagioli soup and eggplant parmesan.
The pasta carbonara was excellent. The pasta fagioli was a little watered down and not very flavorful. The eggplant parmesan was gross. Imagine a cheese ball with paper thin slices of eggplant melt on a plate. Yup, all I tasted was scorching hot cheese.
We might return for regular pasta but I think we will go elsewhere for everything else.

This place was recommended by a local couple we met at the Brasserie St. James while havin dinner, we finally got 2 go with sum familia from outta town, the service was great as was the portions n the meals themselves. I had the veal parm, the wife had the chicken alfredo, which was killa. We will be back n y’all should try this place definitely recommend

Skip. Tired. They can’t even make spaghetti sauce. Watery and chicken parm was frozen chicken – rubbery.
Hate to leave a review like this but when a place changes $21 for spaghetti and the sauce was like watered down ketchup. Don’t want people to spend their good hard earned money here thinking they were getting honest Italian food.
PS: I did tell the staff so I am not hiding behind this review.

Definitely mediocre Italian food at best. The prices do not reflect the food quality. Way overpriced and cheap food quality. The menu says the pasta is homemade. I beg to differ. You can definitely have a better experience elsewhere
