Not worth the money spent. Ordered couple of signature carbonara with extra chicken. The extra chicken was 3 miserable sliced pieces and not tasty at all. Also ordered normal carbonara with extra chicken and came without chicken, it then got replaced but again with barely any slice of chicken. 3 garlic bread were ordered and one came out pretty burnt hence super dry. Then for dessert, I’ve ordered brownies and they didn’t taste good. They tasted more sugary than chocolatey really. For the price of those meals, I wouldn’t go there again. Atmosphere is ok but one waitress completely ignored my boyfriend at some point. All in one very disappointing, would not recommend

Whilst staying at Malmaison which is opposite to this lovely authentic Italian restaurant I ate here two days on the trot. A very warm welcome from the staff who are all Italian, the food is fantastic and the portions are huge. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the marina or who live locally if you’re looking for freshly prepared food in a restaurant with a buzzing atmosphere where you will be very well looked after.

We were served by the server Chloe and she was absolutely amazing incredibly attentive and very lovely. Food was amazing loved the starter was nicest I’ve had. Reasonably priced with student pricing being an option is great. Vegan options are plenty and as labelled there is no question. Place was clean and had a good atmosphere. Would go again

The best! We were a walk in table of 11 at 8pm on a Saturday and Chloe absolutely saved us by squeezing us in on 2 tables- cant thank her enough! The service was fab, Victoria and the other servers were so attentive and helpful – we also had 2 coeliacs to cater for! Table service was quick, food and drinks came and were cleared quickly. All round such a lovely experience – would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful restaurant nestled in a bustling area full of energy. Staff are amazingly friendly and efficient and welcoming. Food is fantastic and highly recommend the pasta dishes to anyone visiting Brighton, 5 stars all round.

Victoria and Chloe were absolutely amazing all night! After being let down by another restaurant in the area our large booking was immediately accommodated when we explained the situation. With multiple allergies in our group these were catered for perfectly and the staff were fabulous throughout. We would 100% recommend Bella Italia to anyone in the area looking for great food and incredibly attentive and kind staff!

Bella Italia saves us after another chain restaurant cancelled on us for our booking. Manager Chloe and server Victoria were amazing at serving us at last minute with a group of 11 people. They were able to accommodate us in two tables as the occasion was a hen do. The food was amazing and the wait time was excellent. We were expecting a long delay due to it being a Saturday and the day before the half marathon but they found space for us.

We visited Bella Italia on a Friday evening a couple of weeks ago. Food was great the staff were really friendly, really grateful for them for accommodating us at short notice.
