Both items were stellar. The pasta was perfectly cooked, not too soggy or too Al dense. The sauce had a nice balance of sweetness and creaminess, with that tomato bringing in a touch of acidity. Great portion for the price, too. Highly recommend it.
The bombe was a lovely little dessert, and the perfect size for a person (you might be able to split if you’re too stuffed). Rich peanut butter and chocolate, tasty cake. Very good for the price. And very clearly made in house.
They also gave me some complimentary bread, which was absolutely delicious. A humongous piece of bread! Topped with some seeds, and it goes perfectly with the olive oil they added in as well. So delicious.
All in all, this place is amazing. Delicious pasta and desserts, and what a nice surprise with the bread! I would definitely order from here again.
We toasted with a peach mango sangria, and a pomegranate-teeni.
An appetizer of breaded zucchini rolled up with prosciutto and multiple cheeses sitting on a bed of marinara.
I decided to choose a classic chicken parm with a side of alfredo, and my husband had a very decadent jumbo shrimp and scallop, angel hair dish with a spicy tomato cream sauce.
Both were very good. I couldn’t believe how much chicken was stacked up on that dish!
I tasted his Caesar salad And I love when you can actually taste the anchovy paste, fresh garlic and such. The same with my dish the roasted garlic came through loud and clear in my alfredo. Vive la differece!
The bread was warm and the olive oil dip they served was basic but good.
We’ll go back soon.
I loved a few things they had on the menu indicating they understood Italian food. Ie: beans and greens, and burrata. You don’t get that at Olive garden. I thought of my peanut butter loving daughter when the waiter strolled by with a particular dessert . I think it was called some sort of “bomb”. Our waiter gushed over it and said he allowed himself to buy one a week and eat it because they’re so good.
We’ll definitely go back.
The food was delicious too. It was flavorful and fresh. I was surprised at how quickly I got a text to say the order was done. There is no where to eat inside the restaurant as it is just a pickup window, but there is outdoor seating.
The owners couldn’t have been nicer. They were friendly and engaged. It is obvious that they are proud of what they do and with good reason.
