Our restaurant is a seasonal American Comfort Food establishment built in a rustic mountain cabin style typical of the 1930s. Hours and our menu vary depending on the season. We will reopen for the 2026 season in March. You ou can enjoy a traditional home style cooked meal, local wine and craft beer without having to leave the grounds. No where in these mountains so close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks will you find motels with an onsite restaurant at the rates we offer. Feel free to check out local competitors. The restaurant features a deck where guests can relax and socialize with other travelers and where pets are welcome. The motel is within a half hour of many of the park’s attractions and hiking trails.

Options in this area are limited, especially in mid-October but Bella Brooke’s is always an excellent choice! We liked the place so much we went twice in a row and they even recognized us the second night. Food was delicious, the sweet potato fries were probably my personal favorite, although the salmon, pasta, chicken, and burger were also excellent. Everyone working there was so nice and despite being busy took great care of us.

Great spot just outside of kings kanyon. We had a great marinated flank steak perfectly cooked. There are instruments like piano and guitars that are free to play ! Awesome to play waiting for our food.

Had the world famous Patty Melt, it was terrific! Great milkshakes too! Lisa was a great waitress, Super friendly. Fun atmosphere homey and comfortable. Prices were great for amount of food. No one in our party left hungry, many commented on the huge portions and the great variety. Easy access one can pull off right from the road. Our party also enjoyed the pot roast, chicken fried steak, lemon chicken, and pesto pasta.
Great stop on the way back from King’s Canyon. Quaint clean restrooms.

Very enjoyable meal at a rustic and charming restaurant. Gena’s has a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. The wait staff are friendly and attentive and are happy to accommodate special requests. I had the rib eye with mixed vegetables and it was perfectly cooked and tasted great. My wife had the salmon that was seasoned very nicely with mashed potatoes and gravy that she found delicious. This is really the only full service restaurant for miles and I highly recommend it. I’m confident that you will have a memorable experience.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the airport after an awesome vacation. So glad we did as the place is nice, very cozy with a nice staff and great menu. We enjoyed our orders and I loved the decor of the place. They have a map of the world and you get to put a pin on the location from were you are visiting; I thought that was very cool. Also the little gift shop had plenty of unique souvenirs. I ended getting everything there. I recommend stopping if you are passing by.

The burgers were well cooked and seasoned with a great balance of flavor, accompanied by generous portions of fries. The staff is sweet and friendly. It takes a while to be served, which the staff informed us after placing our orders.
Warning: do NOT order a milkshake to go. $8 for 12oz is too steep for my blood – I didn’t realize we would receive such a small portion at full price. I would suggest the owners either adjust the pricing for to-go shakes or order larger cups to accommodate those orders.
