By S.Carrelli: Bella Blu is AMAZING. I have been going to Bella Blu for my whole life and it has always been great. Everyone is so nice and the food is so delicious. The pizza is also great and they make it gluten free very well. Some of my favorite dishes are the Spaghetti Chittara and the margarita pizza. I like that the waiters are actually Italian, and the restaurant has an authentic feel instead of a chain restaurant. I highly recommend to anyone who wants great Italian cuisine. If you are ever in New York City, make this one of your stops!

BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU, this place is a GEM . It’s an Italian restaraunt with an amazing atmosphere with comfortable outside seats and couches. I got the penne with veal ragú and it was DELICIOUS. The meat with the pasta and parsley was the best pasta I’ve had in a while . Sadly I forgot to take a picture but I did get one of a grapefruit mocktail and their chocolate lava cake. I also got raspberry sorbet it was really good. The sweetness with the cold of the sorbet really made me happy and I left feeling satisfied. Plus this is close to Central Park so after a good run you can come here and have a great meal.

Delicious Italian sausage & mushroom pizza and pistachio pesto bucatini! Heard multiple Italians coming in here for diner while we ate so you know it’s both good quality and authentic. Accommodated us with our massive stroller too. Really nice outdoor seating.

I recently went to Bella Blu, and overall it was a great experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all really good. I ordered a pizza, and it was amazing — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while. The dessert was also really good, the perfect way to end the meal.
If you’re looking for a nice spot with great food and a relaxed vibe, Bella Blu is definitely worth checking out!

Bella Blu is a reliable Italian spot where the food consistently delivers — well prepared dishes with genuine Italian flavors that make for a satisfying and enjoyable meal. The kitchen is clearly the strength here and rarely disappoints. Service is adequate but a little inconsistent, and the atmosphere, while pleasant, doesn’t quite have the warmth and character you’d hope for from an Italian restaurant with such a pretty name. With more personality in the space and a more attentive front-of-house, Bella Blu could be truly special.

We had a fantastic time here after attending an event at Asia Society. The lobster spaghetti which was the specialty of the night was topnotch with generous portions of lobster. The brunello wine was velvety and full-bodied which I greatly enjoyed. My friends got the crab and shrimp pasta which they also loved. Desserts were surprisingly good, light yet decadent. Lastly, service was impeccable with the most dedicated staff. Bravo!

I had my 40th birthday dinner at Bella Blu last week and it was everything I could have hoped for! Giovanni and his team went out of their way to make my night super special.
I had a pre planned prix fixe menu which made it super convenient for the flow of the night. They kept each course moving and the drinks flowing.
Of course I knew how good the food was but my guests all commented that it was some of the best Italian they’ve had in the city. Yummmmy!
The whole night was so perfect and I’m so grateful for Bella Blu!

Been wanting to come here for a while, ever since I walked by and I saw it packed.
Unassuming from the outside, but lovely on the inside. Very elegant decoration and the service staff was not only very friendly, but also very sharp.
I opted for the home made pappardelle with duck ragu and olives. It was amazing. The sauce was great and there was a good amount of shredded duck nestled within the thick strips of pasta.
Bread and a spread came with the meal. It looked unassuming but I ended up eating the entire plate since that sauce was so good! Oil and tomato and spices.
Didn’t have space for dessert… next time!
Note: they didn’t have chicken parm on the menu but I also didn’t ask if they would make it. Decided to stick to the menu this time around 🙂
