Food is great! Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free are available. Wonderful atmosphere that is cozy and inviting. Our waitress was talkative and knew the menu well. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I love this brewery. They did a tremendous job renovating and keeping it looking like an old style monastery or medieval banquet hall, but modern. Cool seating with banquet tables for 10, large booths for 4 or 2 cubby’s in the wall for a romantic two seater. Service was excellent. Food was just ok for me. The Mac and cheese had a sweet flavor and I wanted it more gooey. My mule tasted good but came in a glass, not a copper mug which is strange. Overall it was a cool experience and great dinner

First time there and it was a great experience! We had the soft pretzels, turkey club and bacon/beer cheese fries. Our server was excellent and patio seating was plentiful.

Was really looking forward to eating here. Came to town to visit my daughter and wanted to take her out to a nice dinner. When we arrived, the atmosphere was great, great looking bar, and loved the transformation of church to restaurant. Very nice staff! We got pretzels for appetizers and then got 2 burgers and fries. My wife got a greek salad and a bowl of mac and cheese. We also got 2 drinks. One was a cider spritzer and the other was some type of pumpkin spice tini. Both looked amazing but the flavor of them was kind of disappointing. The cider spritzer had no cider flavor at all, all you could taste was an anise type of flavor. The pumpkin spice drink tasted more like a chocolate martini and had no sense of pumpkin in it. The burgers were ok, salad and mac and cheese was good but small. The prices were out of this world for what you got. Had to pay extra for fries with the burgers. Even got charged when I asked for mayo for my burger. . To spend over a $100 on 2 burgers, salad, mac and cheese, and 2 drinks. Kind of crazy!

Great place to be on a Friday night with friends. It was very busy, lively and great for causal outing. The interior was stunning, with tall open ceilings and arched windows and design details that made the space feel open and aesthetic.

They offer a great selection of beer, cocktails, shareables, and sandwiches! We started with the ale and larger samplers and ended up getting a whole pitcher.( I forgot to take pictures, we gulped down too fast). I had the sakura spritz, which was light and refreshing with a nice yuzu finish.

For shareables, we ordered Bavarian Style Pretzels, Bacon & Beer Cheese Fries, and Nashville Hot Cauliflower Wings. I personally enjoyed the cauliflower wings. They had a spicy kick, were very crispy and paired well with the drinks.

For the entree, we tried the Hot Italian, Steak French Dip, and Strawberry Goat Grilled Cheese. Everything on the table was delicious.

It was a bit hard to get the server’s attention at time due to how busy it was, but overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be back next time.

Cool interior, fun patio that’s dog friendly. Really enjoyed the cheese, bacon fries. The cheese was almost like sauce and the bacon was fresh and tender. my burger was good and my buddies Italian sub was over the top. Only negative experience was they were out of having to deal with steak so no French dip. Our server was stellar. Will return.

A fantastically adorned ex-church converted into Bell Tower Brewing. Thumbs up to the Kent-based staff/bartender ladies. They were warm and seemed happy to work there.

On to the food. I couldn’t deny myself the prized ‘Bell Tower’ burger (7 ounces of local OH beef, thick cut bacon, beer cheese, BBQ based sauce, fried onions and pickled red onion, $17). The taste was absolutely magical, I told the head chef, Justin that it was one of my best Ohio burgers ever tried. The combo of juicy ribeye blend and texture from the beer cheese and fried onions allowed my stomach to be in heaven.

I paired my burger with the 1858 Porter, a 6% “dark ale created with a variety of black and crystal malts”. Super good porter.

I’ll definitely be coming back to this establishment in the future, very memorable food experience!

The food, beer, cocktails and service were all excellent. I love that the menu is not just the “typical” selection as at most breweries nowadays. Everything was inventive, interesting, fresh and delicious. We had the mushroom ravioli- a seasonal dish that was beyond delicious! African sweet potato and peanut stew- complex rich and incredible- and the strawberry goat cheese grilled cheese. We both agreed that this was the best local food we have tried in quite some time. The Maarzen beer and the weirdly incredible Garden cocktail! Loved everything. The atmosphere is great too- 1858 church building remodeled with care. Thanks to the chefs and the bar staff, our sweet waitress for an incredible meal. AND- it didn’t hurt the wallet.

Our first visit to Bell Tower was excellent.

Our server, Hannah, was exceptional. Her food and drink recommendations were a hit with the table, she answered all of our questions thoughtfully despite a busy lunch, and she kept our table clear and glasses full. Genuinely a very bright, lovely young lady, and one of the better servers we’ve had.

Our food and drinks came out quickly, despite the rush. I enjoyed the Pear Grilled Cheese and the cauliflower wings. Our friends loved the pretzels too. I’d highly recommend the Gloria if you like Belgian styles.

We certainly plan on making a return trip!
