Our first time here.
Food was fantastic. Had Mud Pie Waffle, it was amazing. Portion size was great, tasted yummy and felt so fresh. Chocolate and coffee icecream with hot waffle was perfect. Also had waffle fries which was crisp and fresh again.
Honestly we had to wait for 15 mins as it was a Sunday morning on a snow clad weekend. But the system of waiting wasn’t exhausting. Got a text when our table was ready and we just hopped in after strolling around the lake with beautiful snow views.
Service was quick. Pricing felt not expensive for the place and portion size.
In all a perfect place to grab food especially with a family. Highly recommend this place.

A Must-Visit Waffle Spot in Lake Arrowhead! We drove about an hour to an hour and a half from home to visit this place. We originally planned for brunch but ended up having an early lunch. Since a friend highly recommended it, I had been looking forward to visiting for a long time.
Located in Lake Arrowhead, the setting was absolutely stunning. The clear blue sky and crisp, fresh air were top-notch. They were also busy setting up Christmas trees, which added to the charm.
The food here is simply the best. I’ve been to many waffle specialty shops, but this place stands out because the flavors and the environment complement each other perfectly. The interior decoration is especially captivating—walls adorned with coffee mugs and plates, and even cups hanging from the ceiling. The collection of high-end tableware provides plenty to see. Their heavy desserts are also a highlight. If you want to enjoy both great taste and a wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend this place!

I had breakfast at Belgian Waffle Works in Lake Arrowhead, and everything I ordered (scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, and hash browns) was freshly cooked. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and cooked exactly how I like them, and the bacon had the right amount of crispiness and flavor without being overcooked. The waffles were the standout! They were light, golden, and just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they know what they’re doing because they tasted fresh and homemade, rather than rushed out of the kitchen. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just enough seasoning to let the taste come through. On top of that, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If anyone wants an amazing breakfast with the view of Lake Arrowhead, I’d definitely point them toward Belgian Waffle Works.

We stopped by on a Tuesday morning for breakfast. We were seated quickly. My companion had the Brussels Belgian, I had the classic Belgian with strawberries and a side of country potatoes. Everything was very flavorful, the fruit was fresh and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. Service was great and there is a beautiful view of the lake while you eat.

Ah, a tourist favorite! Been coming here for years (mostly as a kid). I went in today and it was a bit underwhelming. The staff is very nice and friendly – our waiter was helpful, made recommendations, and was attentive. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t look very clean. There were sticky spots on our table (maybe they were just stains) and the utensils had dried food left on it… on both of our sets. The egg sandwich was good and the waffle was perfect. Nice and crispy on one side, but still a little soft on the other. The waffle fries that came out with the sandwich were alright, the seasoning could use some improvements. Our coffee mugs came only half filled and the flavor was on the sour side (might just be from the type of roast). Overall okay, but a bit overpriced for the quality and portions that are serviced + the lack of cleanliness

I’m sorry but it was a 50/50 for me my food was good but my child’s waffle was burnt and ewwwwww was nastyand the sausage had a funny taste by the time the over worked server came by it was child’s so I just told my child to eat everything else. And gave them some of my waffle which was OK. I was charged for the real syrup twice. We didn’t touch but one of them. It’s OK I paid it left a 20% tip and plan on never returning. Only 1 bathroom and it was a line. Our wait to be seated was about 20 minutes.

I was having a nice day and decided to try this restaurant because the menu looked great. The hostess said the wait would be around 30 minutes, which was totally fine. Not long after joining the waitlist, I received a text saying my table was READY.
When I checked in, the server told me the table actually wasn’t ready yet. I didn’t mind waiting a bit longer, but then I watched two other parties who arrived after me get seated first. Feeling confused, I asked why that was, and the answer I got was simply, “your table isn’t ready yet.” So I asked which table was mine so I could wait nearby — but shockingly, the server ignored my question, walked over to the table, and just stood there staring at me.
That moment felt really dismissive and uncomfortable, especially since I was genuinely looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. It would have been much better if the text had been sent only after the table was TRUELY ready, or if my question had been acknowledged.
Despite feeling disappointed, I still left a tip out of respect for the other staffs. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously — no guest deserves to be treated that way.

We came by this restaurant two times in one week with a large (30+ people) family group which included many folks with walkers and wheelchairs.
The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We had many folks needing vegetarian, others avoiding sugar or gluten and we were accommodated and served efficiently.
The food…… terrific. The waffles were so good, including the gluten-free one. Very much recommend this place.
It’s also on the lakefront where you can see and feed mallard ducks and huge rainbow trout.

Service was crazy good. We got our food in less than five minutes for a table of four people. The food was somehow better. It’s no wonder they are busy on the weekends. Definitely my favorite place to eat in the village

Belgian Waffle Works was one of the most fun and delicious places I have visited in a long time. I went there with someone and saw a lot of teenagers taking pictures of their waffles and enjoying the bright and cheerful atmosphere. The whole place felt playful, especially with the lake right next to the outdoor seating. The service was friendly and upbeat, which made the experience feel smooth and enjoyable. The value was great because the waffles were huge and the prices felt fair for how much food you get. The quality of the food was excellent, especially the fruit toppings and whipped cream, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The selection was impressive, with sweet and savory options that teenagers would love trying. I only visited this place once before writing this review, but I really enjoyed how easy it was to have fun there without feeling rushed. Teenagers would love this place because it gives them a chance to take creative food photos, enjoy delicious waffles, and feel playful in a lively environment. I highly recommend that teenagers visit this location because it gives them a sweet and memorable experience.
