This cute little place is an absolute gem tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Every time I’ve been here, the service has been consistently excellent—friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The food is always delicious and clearly made with care. The soups are especially amazing and easily some of the best I’ve had, and the hamburgers are fantastic—flavorful, well-cooked, and very satisfying.
I’ve also stopped in for breakfast in the past, and the quality is just as impressive. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, comforting, and exactly what you want from a great local spot. On top of that, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with awesome pictures on the walls that give the place so much character.
This is the kind of place you’re genuinely happy to stumble upon, and I will absolutely be stopping again whenever I’m in the area. If you’re passing through, it’s 100% worth the stop!

On the hunt for a tasty fare in the back boondocks of door county, we stumbled across this DELIGHTful lil trove with a lovely grandmother and her grandkids workin the place! With burgers and fries ordered, for a Friday night and it being busy with some local food aficionados, we enjoyed a DELIGHTful meal with great service! Only con was they had no lemons or lemon juice which was a wee bit disappointing because we had originally came for a fish fry but alas, THE BURGERS SAVED THE DAY. WHAT A DELIGHT. TRULY APTLY NAMED. Great experience and amazing food here. My family and I stopped to have breakfast on our way out of Door County and it was amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and our server, Ashley, was very attentive. And for the food, it was FANTASTIC! I ordered stuffed french toast with strawberry cream cheese and it was made to perfection. The food wasn’t overly greasy and the portion sizes were huge. A true diner experience. I’ll definitely grab another bite from here next time I visit Door County.

In the restaurant there were 5 tables of people who were already serviced….along with 3 wait staff plus other undefined staff. One waitress was working while the other 2 were chitchatting at the counter. Not busy enough to be ignored. We were given a menu and silverware only to wait over 15 minutes with no service, no drink nothing at all. I stopped on our way out the door to hand them their menus back and told them it would be a great place to start a restaurant.

Great place to grab a burger and or some ice cream afterwards, as they have some really good burgers, which we had there Belgian delight single burger and it was very filling especially after you add the fries to the mix! But no I would definitely suggest any of there burgers and I’m sure alot of there other stuff is good as well, I would definitely stop again in the future!

Very disappointing breakfast. Ordered Belgian waffle and it was soggy and undercooked. Bacon was fatty and undercooked (granted some people like it this way I guess). Not allowed to customize any breakfast item on weekends. Hashbrowns were good. Pick a table not a booth (dead flies in windows-not clean). Won’t be going back.

I’m usually a big fan of and love their breakfast but was disappointed when leaving Sturgeon Bay my last visit. Even though it was still “breakfast” time according to their menu, it was unavailable. They had already switched the kitchen over. Most of us didn’t eat, then, and those of us who did get items weren’t really impressed. People came in after us and were waited on first, and it seemed like all the local ladies playing cards took priority. I’ll try again and just go earlier next time.
