First timers to The Belfré, and we enjoyed it very much. Brunch on a Saturday morning was really great for everyone in our party of 5. The entry hall is a bit cramped, but the dining area is more open and very bright. We were given a table upstairs, which is not accessible to those with mobility needs, but it was fine for us. The Mimosa Flight was a nice start, and being able to select 3 flavors is appreciated. Apricot/Blackberry/Cranberry were our choices, and each was well-made. The dishes we ordered (see photos) were plentiful, and the presentation and taste were good. The menu has so much to offer it is actually hard to decide what to order. Our server, Courtney, was great and took exceptional care of us.
The restrooms are unisex and on the main floor. The hallway to them is a bit narrow and even has a prep table in it, which may be an issue for a wheelchair user. I’m sure that table can be moved momentarily if requested.
All in all, it was a wonderful brunch. The bell pull is near the front door, and if you ask nicely, I’m sure you can ring it to hear the beautiful sound. The organ pipes are upstairs, and it is nice to have some of the original building remaining for a nice ambiance.

Absolutely delicious! The Cesar salad was off the charts, and the chicken Milanese was the best I’ve ever had. Chef’s . Our young server exceeded my expectations with her knowledge of the menu – super friendly and attentive, too. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful, former church with a fresh menu. We were there on a Wednesday, and they had live music and a little market outside. They were serving food and drinks outside as well. One of the specials was a berry salad with greens and cheese crumbles. Very good, and I will be making it at home. The roasted cauliflower was enough for more than 2 people. Hint, add bacon. It’s worth it, and it is more like rendered. salty pork belly cubes, than just bacon crumbles. If you sit upstairs, you will notice the organ pipes from when it used to be a church. An awesome place if you are in the area.

Absolutely incredible in every way. Every dish is crafted with care and tastes incredible. The wait staff are friendly, and the vibes are immaculate. Highly recommend for brunch and I will be back to try out dinner. Seriously go to this place if you’re considering it. Worth every penny.

They charge a credit card service fee. Terrible! It’s already $40+ for a small piece of chicken and risotto. Very basic and over priced food. The chicken was extremely moist but salty. Almost as if they soak it for days in a salt brine.
The portions were also on the smaller side for the price.
Top notch balsamic glaze.
The decor and atmosphere also does not warrant a $50+ a person meal. For instance, the tables were sticky and the waitress was wearing shorts.

We came in on a Friday to try a number of dishes. By far the small plates were the winner. The whipped feta was amazing. I could have eaten at least two more portions of that alone. My main course was good but not as good as the small plates. The potatoes that are served with the walleye special was the star of the main course. Others at my table tried a few of the cocktails and loved them all. Overall a great experience. Next time I visit I want to try their desserts and brunch menu.

Went for our anniversary in December and we got a treat with the doughnuts. Yummmmm. I had the salmon and my spouse had the beef I think. Great atmosphere. Great service. Sad to hear of them closing. Look forward to what’s next for you guys.

Belfre Kitchen is a great restaurant. Very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The food is exquisite – the Crispy Thai Brussel Sprouts are among the best I’ve had. For entrees I ordered the Swordfish Rice Bowl and my wife had the Beef Tenderloin. This restaurant does fill up, so sometimes the service takes a bit (still very friendly) and the food is worth it!
