Fabulous little find! Yall, head to New Ulm for a rustic, down to earth feel of retro-Italian-like ambiance. We enjoyed the soft lighting, quiet atmosphere and delish salad topped with tender chunks of chicken, fresh veggies as well, and the Italian creamy dreamy Tiramiau too. Staff was personable and informative. Check-out the outside patio and rustic-fancy wash closet. They also have a variety of coffee drinks! We will definitely go back to try that!

I saw a few posts of their food and wanted to try it. We ordered cappuccino, cheesy bread, BBQ Italian pizza, sandwich (forget name) and a salad. WOW the portions are generous (look at the size of the salad!) everything was fresh and the bread was absolutely delicious/fresh and had crust, like being back in NJ (where I grew up). Service was fast, and it was cool watching interaction of families, that were stopping in after school, with staff .
The place is CLEAN and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping in and trying their food. Grabbed a coffee for the 30 min ride home and that coffee was also prefect!

My fiance and I were going to get married in Cat Spring so we went looking for local places to cater our food. The dinner was excellent, the owners son was our server, he provided great service and connected us with the owner. Although they don’t normally cater weddings the owner was so accommodating, responsive and kind. Great people, great food!

Delicious hand made pizza. You can really taste the quality in the crust, sauces and toppings. We spoke to the owner for a while and loved hearing how he makes the sauces, doughs, meatballs and more — all from scratch. He is committed to sourcing high quality ingredients and offers also Gluten Free options. Bel Tavolo really exceeded expectations for a restaurant in a small town off the beaten path. You can see the passion and attention to quality. We will definitely be back! We ordered the Italian sub (the side of pasta salad was the best I’ve ever had!), four personal pizzas, meatball appetizer and tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. You must stop by Bel Tavolo!

The New York-style slices here are huge and fold perfectly. The crust has a great chew and the sauce is just tangy enough. It’s our favorite Friday night treat. The garlic knots are also a must-order.

I don’t normally write reviews yet it is such a gem to find this fresh homemade food that I have to share.
I love the fresh made salad (lots fresh greens), yummy Penni and the pizza (make my own). Save the best for the last – finish with the moist Tiramisu (it’s sooooo yummy that I am still dreaming about it).
We went there for our date night and order pizza for today. I probably will need to get a to go again for the monthly special this coming week.

Had a dinner meeting with a good friend, and really enjoyed the service and the food. The people were friendly, and we were not rushed. This is off the beaten path, but highly recommended.
