This was a real treat. Set in the jungle in comfort with delicious food. I got there early so I could enjoy the bird life. We could hear the music of the river as we ate and chatted.
Food was delicious. Great friendly service.

Probably the best sushi I’ve had in Costa Rica! The rolls we had were fresh and delicious! With 8 pieces each they were a pretty good value too. The spot is very charming and the husband and wife who run it are very gracious. Highly recommended!!

This sushi bar is an absolute treasure tucked away in the middle of the rainforest near Montezuma. The location alone is magical; lush greenery all around, tropical wood furniture that blends beautifully with the jungle vibe, and a super chill, welcoming atmosphere.
Now the food: unbelievably fresh seafood, perfectly crafted sushi, and flavors that seriously surprised us; in the best way. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the ocean, with care and skill in the preparation.
The prices are super fair, especially considering the quality and remote location. And to top it all off, the owner Eugenia and her husband are lovely. You can feel the heart they put into the place; warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
This is truly a must-visit spot, even if you have to come from far. It’s 100% worth the trip. Sushi in the jungle has never tasted so good.

I had a wonderful lunch with beautiful views here at Bejuko! The whitefish carpaccio marinated and wasabi oil was to die for! I could eat that every day… I also had a sushi lovers platter and the variety they give you was really nice. Also, the cocktails are really well made. The ginger ice cream was very refreshing to finish my meal with little fruits from the jungle.

The sushi is delicious and the atmosphere is even better. The sounds of the waterfall and the jungle provide an amazing experience.

the atmosphere is incredible but the food itself was super expensive and below average sushi. the service was kind and attentive, but we spent around $100 for two of us and we felt it was the least appetizing sushi we have had so far. which is super unfortunate because the venue topped them all.

When in Montezuma this little slice of heaven is a must see!! Not only is the staff and food impeccable the atmosphere and surroundings are genuinely a perfect picture of paradise!! You can enjoy the view of the jungle as you eat in a comfortable and peaceful environment. And when you’re finished with your amazing meal you can take a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. I can’t say enough about this place the owners and staff are like family and we will be back every time we visit Montezuma!!

I hadn’t been out for sushi for close to two years, but when I heard that chef Martin had opened at Bejuko, I just had to go! The restaurant is located in the jungle, is 100% Costa Rican, but the food is 100% Martin. Best sushi in all of Puntarenas! As always, Martin, you are the best!

Bejuko is one of our favorite places in the area. I go about twice a month. The setting is charming and unique with little tables set up in 3 areas. The sushi is excellent, I’ve had nearly everything on the menu. The fish always tastes super fresh. I can also recommend the sesame ice cream for dessert. It is amazing! Go to Bejuko for a one of a kind dining experience. Martin the chef is ☺️

The best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. The staff are very friendly and informative (my first time in Montezuma). Our waitress took the time to go through the menu with us and make recommendations. We will absolutely be back!
