Beirut Restaurant is a legendary name for a reason, and it remains one of those essential Doha experiences that every traveler should have on their list. We had an incredible meal here that centered around their Hummus with Meat—it was easily the best I’ve had, with the perfect texture and high-quality ingredients. When you pair that with their fresh, house-baked bread still warm from the oven, it really elevates a simple meal into something memorable. We finished off the experience with a Sulemani tea, which was the perfect, traditional way to round out the flavors.

The service here is another major highlight. Despite the restaurant’s popularity and the constant flow of guests, the staff is attentive, professional, and keeps things moving seamlessly. It’s rare to find a place that manages such high volume while maintaining a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. For the quality and the portion sizes we received, the price was very reasonable, making it accessible without compromising on the authentic Lebanese standards they are known for.

I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality meal that feels both traditional and expertly executed. Whether you’re a local or just passing through the city, the combination of great service, fair pricing, and that standout hummus makes it a non-negotiable stop. It’s a place that clearly takes pride in its consistency, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Just outstanding, we had the best hummus, olives, pickle, chilli just loved everything. One of my key highlight of the 2 months long trip. Absolute value for money. Amazing smiling and courteous staff, I will possibly come to Doha just to make a visit to this place again. Thanks once again.

Best falafel I have ever had in my life!!! The hummus -regular and with meat were exceptionally tasty and was definitely worth the visit. Service was quick and efficient. Place looks like it has been around for a while but was clean and tidy. Tea was good, no complaints there 🙂

I recently visited Beirut Restaurant, and it is easy to see why it is such a popular Lebanese spot in Doha. The highlight of the meal was definitely the fresh pita bread and hummuswhich was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic.

The service was fast and efficient , and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Lebanese street food and classics.

Ordered the Fattoush Salad, Hummus and the Duplex Pie. WOW!

Everything so delicious, fresh and flavourful! Love the touches of herbs in the salad and pickles are yum! Very generous portions, so lovely for family sharing. Also more than enough options for everyones tastes. Value for money.

The staff also so friendly, smiling and welcoming.

If you are a traveller or in area, stop buy for delicious fresh food.

We dined at Beirut restaurant to sample their hummus, ordering the falafel, hummus with meat and moutabel, accompanied by their freshly baked bread. My son, a chicken shawarma enthusiast, enjoyed his plate. This was our first experience with the restaurant; I found the hummus with meat and moutabel, served with bread, olive oil, crushed chilies, olives, and onions (in place of pickled vegetables), to be superior in quality to similar establishments in Doha. While the chicken shawarma was average in taste, it wasn’t exceptional. The restaurant offered ample seating, and we found it moderately busy upon arrival. It is recommended.

Beirut Restaurant, Mshreib.

A few months back, I bobbed into Beirut Restaurant, grabbed a meal to go, and promptly forgot about it—like the ending of a Netflix series I swore I’d finish. It was fine. Not offensive. Just… food.

Fast forward to last week: I catch Mark Wiens on TV looking like he’s just tasted heaven in hummus form. He’s at Beirut Restaurant, wide-eyed and nodding like a dashboard bobblehead, while a local foodie drowns everything in olive oil and chilli. Naturally, I think, “Have I missed something?” So, I head back and this time, I sit in. Big commitment.

The food came out in five minutes—suspiciously fast, like they knew I was coming or Mark was filming from a hidden booth.

I ordered:
• Falafel sandwich (5QR)
• Fatteh hummous (20QR)
• Musabaha (11QR, small)
• Foul (11QR, small)
• Tea (2QR – because hydration is important when your meal is 60% olive oil)

Verdict:

The fatteh hummous? Loaded. More stacked than my inbox on a Monday morning. Definitely outshines Arabesq and Huda. Kaaking might still reign supreme, but this one’s coming for the crown. Would order again and tell my grandkids about it.

The musabaha was like a hug from a chickpea in a winter coat—warm, tasty, and very heavy. I ate half and briefly considered a nap.

The foul? Elevated by the addition of chilli and a crunchy side onion. Big up to Mark for that power move. I’m a changed person.

Then there’s the falafel sandwich. Look—Mark made it look like a divine revelation. I bit in expecting fireworks. What I got was… falafel. As a veggie, I want to love it. But let’s be honest—it’s the tofu of the Middle East. I respect it more than I enjoy it.

Service? Top-notch. The staff were absolute legends—friendly, knowledgeable, and probably now convinced I’m a food critic (which I am, but only on Google Maps and in group chats).

Would I go again? Yes. Would I bring my own bottle of olive oil like a seasoned local? Absolutely not. I’d explode.

This restaurant was good in the past. Today, see the photos, you get burn mankesh bread with burn cheese or zaatar. You really smell smoke while eating. The mankesh base is very thick as if you are biting something but not manakesh. Other meals have also similar issues. The guys were very polite during ordering, that makes us feel a delicious meals are being prepared. I don’t really know what’s happening. Unbelievable!

The third generation of owners has been the most courteous and generous ever. They’ve been serving delicious food at their restaurant for over 35 years, starting from their previous location. While there have been occasional instances of bad food preparation, the quality of taste and freshness has never wavered.
