When the menu is faded and the decorations are outdated, you will know this place is packing some heat.

I work nearby and come here for lunch at least three times a week. They are faster than any fast food place nearby (15 minutes is the longest you’ll ever wait) and the food is just so filling and good.

Just walked out there! The lady was so rude and impatient! I said we never been here she just staring at us. I ask was she okay she said just waiting. She act like we were an inconvenience big time. No one was in there why would you be so rude to your only customer! Will never go back WOW!!!

They have good food but they have raised their prices every time we go there. This time it was $35 for 2 lunch portion combos, a small rice and one appetizer. Use to be about $23! They think they are a fine dining restaurant apparently!

I really like their food. Been eating here for years, but customer service lacks much! I’ve watched the little boy grow up and he is always kind, but the mother is not nice at all and extremely cheap. I called in an order at 11:30 and asked for a lunch combo. When I got there, they had prepared a regular combo which is several dollars more per combo. First of all, most people that call in at lunch time want a LUNCH combo. Secondly, when I told her I wanted the lunch combo, she started to literally take the food back out of the bag and to give me a smaller portion because she said it was more food. First of all, I had already paid and didn’t want to wait for her to do all of that. Secondly, who actually takes back food? What are you going to do with it? I certainly hope not give it to someone else? Previously, she tried to charge me $.75 for a container of red sauce. ??? I probably will still eat here from time to time because the food is pretty good, but I just don’t care for their customer service and don’t care to patronize places that don’t appreciate their customers, especially regular ones.

I just got this the other day – General Tso’s and Kung Po Chicken. Both were really tasty – on par with Mr. Wok/Magic Wok in Gahanna (the gold standard for me). The Kung Po has an interesting spice to it and the General Tso’s was spicy sweet. The pork fried rice tastes delicious (grilled taste with veggies…like it should be) Delicious and a great price. I will be back. New fave Chinese for this side of town!!

Authentic food. Very tasty. Great prices. Nice size portions. I had a friend who lived in the area, and was introduced the Beijing, in the early 00’s. Ordered takeout there quite often, almost every time I visited. I still order out when I’m in the area. Have even made specific trip just to satisfy my craving (live in Clintonville). Yep! It’s that good. Favorites are General Tso, roast pork (with veg or LoMein), and hands down the best crab Rangoon in the county. I got hooked on the Rangoon when I ordered the poopoo platter. If you have a goto dish, try their version. I don’t like baby corns, I ask them to leave it out and they have no problems accommodating. Not a ‘fancy’ place, don’t let it fool you. They’re geared for takeout. They focus on the food, not the fancy.
