I ordered a small Beef and Giardin… but I asked for no giardin peppers. It says no giardin peppers on the receipt and they repeated the order at pick up but the pizza is full of giardin peppers. I have food restrictions where I cannot eat peppers. Very disappointed. I tried to just pick them off but it was cooked into the pizza

I got a pizza today that I asked well done for and they think “well done” is burnt. Then they can’t accept being wrong. When I called, the person on the phone had such a nasty attitude. They wanted to compromise by giving me a new pizza to my house and me handing them the messed up burnt pizza I received. I don’t know what they will do with a burnt pizza back, to me that was petty and assumed we were trying to get free food. Especially after the attitude I got. Instead I said I would not go here. If you can’t take accountability then your business will suffer.

I like to get a Beggar’s pizza once in a while when I’m in the area. The restaurant has been a nostalgic community staple for decades now. Ordered a medium thin crust with sausage, green pepper, spinach, onion and mushroom. As always, the pizza had a nice crisp crust and was hot with fresh ingredients – tasted delicious! They truly lay the toppings on thick and I’m all about it.
$34 and some change is usually pretty steep for a 12 inch medium pizza but given inflation and the wonderful pile of tasty toppings, I would gladly pay again the next time I’m in town.

I am ridiculously disappointed in my last experience at this location. I ordered a pizza well done. Normally the pizza at this location can be alittle raw compared to there location so I order well done if its at this location. However, this time around, the pizza was beyond that. It was dried out and black on the sized. So I call to complain. I did not need another pizza to replace it. I didnt feel like driving over. After wait 40 mins after the expected time, I was hungry .I just wanted to let them know so they could talk to their workers about the quality of their products. However, the employee that answered had an attitude. The manager had an attitude. I got sick of going nowhere with her an told her, I don’t need you to send me a new pizza, I just wanted an apology and to hear that you would do your job and monitor the quality of food going out. Instead the manager started arguing more with me and told me shes glad I won’t be coming back.

We’ve been ordering Beggars Pizza for years because it’s always super delicious, but this past Thursday 10/02 we decided to dine in and watch the Cubs game and it was even better than expected!
We ordered our pizza ahead, and by the time we got there it came out in about 10 minutes fresh, hot, and perfect. The gentleman behind the bar deserves a special shout-out: great attitude, smiling the whole time, and truly understands what excellent customer service means.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be coming back! ⚾️
