The Peshwari naan was the best I’ve ever tasted, huge, dripping with honey and sesame seeds. Every dish we ordered felt like a generous portion and 8 peoples meals and sides came out at the same time, all hot and all plates cleared! Service was great, complimentary limoncello at the end was a very pleasant surprise and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Will be coming back again!

Food was amazing!! Service on the other hand was very poor. I’m not sure if it was because we were a young couple or not British. We waited about 45 mins for us to be able to order food, it was not busy, they had three tables, but when other people came in after us they got served straight away! Tables around us were getting complimentary shots except for us.
If you’re 40 and older definitely come here. You’ll be served like kings and queens anyone younger go elsewhere. Food good tho. We got lamb Naga and chicken methi.

Can I just say this restaurant is absolutely amazing. I booked a surprise birthday dinner party for my boyfriend for his 36 birthday for 11 of us. To top it off the restaurant staff set out the table lovely bought a card and balloons for my boyfriend and put in the card from bees restaurant bless them and made it really special for him. The food was delicious the atmosphere was so bubbly all the staff was so so lovely too the best part was they made him a lovely birthday cake with a sparkler candle free of charge and gave us free shot at the end as a happy birthday. Absolutely amazing people in there I would definitely be coming back and I would definitely recommend it to everybody. Thank you bees and your team for our amazing night and making us feel so welcome and making it so special for Gary x

We had an excellent meal here last week. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. Wide ranging menu so something to suit everyone. We visited on a Thursday evening in late January so very quiet. However the ambience and dining environment is good so I’m sure this place will be buzzing when busier. Recommended and will visit again for sure!

Very nice restaurant, friendly and polite staff. Talked to the owner as I came over from France for a couple of days and just saw the restaurant in the heart of Colchester near the castle.
The servings were copious, well presented and delicious with a nice pint of Indian beer to wash it all down.
I ordered the chicken dansak and the peshwari naan.
I needed a doggy bag for the extras. Would recommend.

The food was gorgeous recommend chicken tikka and saag aloo very good. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are lovely the only snag is sitting next to the door is a bit breezy but still very good experience. Would definitely come again.

Have been to this restaurant few times. Good food and great customer service. They customise based on our requests. Nice place to try out Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. Easy to locate and it is near to the Colchester castle park. They also have Special Buffet at just £14.95 available only on Sundays from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Will visit again!
