Restaurant is in same building as a hotel where I was staying. I ordered a French Dip with shoestring fries. Both were cooked to perfection. The French Dip roll had just the right crunch and the au jus dip was exactly the right amount…most French dips do not come with enough au jus.
The restaurant was understaff with just one waitress/bartender working very hard. No time for chit chat. I sat in the bar area to make it easier for her. There was nobody seated in the main dining area (see picture). There were around ten people seated at the bar, and lots of local people stopping in to pick up orders.
There was a cornhole event going on in the hotel which also kept the bar busy with players coming in for drinks. One customer brought in his young son who sat at the bar and created a bit of chaos. Once dad had his drinks he went back to cornhole with his son in tow.
Overall I could have done without the music, bar noise, and coming and going of customers. Still, the French Dip was great; the waitress impressive; and the convenience unbeatable; so my few complaints are minor in the grand scheme of things.

This is a solid spot with friendly staff, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere. It really could be a five-star place with a couple of small tweaks.
I’ve noticed that drinks are sometimes served in plastic cups. Not sure if that’s an all-the-time thing, but in a hotel bar that draws a professional crowd, it just feels out of place. Real glassware would instantly make the experience feel more polished.
Also, the Monday half-price wing special is dine-in only — which I get — but the rule’s a little too strict. If someone’s been sitting there for hours, ordering drinks and tipping well, they should be able to take a few leftovers home. Once food’s paid for, that’s part of the cost of doing business.
Overall, a great local spot that just needs a little more flexibility and attention to detail to be a five-star experience.

The bartender at this who claims to be the general manager is in the wrong line of work in my opinion. My friends an I went in there for the throwback party which was canceled due to weather. The general manager Michelle was very rude and disrespectful to me. I don’t know where a customer voices that the chicken wings are way overpriced and being labeled as jumbo wings is cause to yell at a customer and tell my wife, “I can serve you but not him because he complained about the chicken wings.” When Michelle said that to my wife she walked away angry. Michelle created a scene with me saying, ” If I hear anything about the chicken wings your out of here .” This was in front of customers. Why she would call my friend Deanna whom is recovering from surgery in front of customers and involve her is unbelievable. I am serious there were 5 customers sitting at bar while without a drink while she confirms that my friend Deanna knows me and repeatedly said, “you know this guy” sarcastically. I won’t be back, what a shame such a nice place is run by a threatening person.

For in hotel dining, great! I tried a special, a quesadilla burger. It was quite good! The meat seemed very good in quality. It was so juicy and flavorful and the cheddar cheese and smoky, grilled quesadilla were great. The tots were super crispy and crunchy.

Have been here 20 times. Endure karaoke SO loud that you can’t have a conversation over for EXCELLENT wings and beer prices, and great service.
This Monday when I stopped, they said they’d discontinued wing night. Understandably. I said id just grab a pitcher of Utica Club (normally, depending on the server $8-10), bartender asked if id like to keep it open or just pay for the pitcher, I said id just pay for this one(there were a few of us planning on sharing drinks). Came back with a receipt for $22, charging me for a bucket of import beers(I’m guessing the highest priced beer item). You could tell she was upset we were considering finding food elsewhere, and acted accordingly.
We actually planned to stay for a few more of their off-flavored UC drafts because we like going there weekly, but not for $25 pitchers and a spiteful bartender. They’ve lost a good customer. Won’t be back.

I was a guest at the hotel attached during a work trip in New Hartford. I decided to get some dinner at the hotel restaurant instead of ordering and picking up in town. I sat at a table in view of the bar for 15 minutes. Not one server anywhere and nobody even asked me if I wanted to order. I ordered online from Applebee’s and left. Pathetic service. I was planning on having a quick meal and then possibly having a few drinks. If I ever stay here again I sure will not waste my time with this place.

If you are looking for a basic bar atmosphere, then this place is for you. There are a few bar games to be had–pool, darts, etc.–and the service was quite excellent. Our server was also the bartender, and though not a super busy night I still appreciated how she was able to tend to our table. And her drinks were quite good–not too sweet, the right amount of alcohol.
But like I said, this place is very much a bar. My wife and I went for dinner, and there really wasn’t anywhere to sit that didn’t feel like we had the conversations at the bar pretty much in our ears the entire time. And the food was quite bland–wings that were overcooked, pulled pork that was dry, and a brat sandwich that was almost flavorless. Not sure how you can make a brat with sauerkraut and mustard bland, but there it is. I may come back if I’m looking only to drink, as dinner was a great disappointment.

We had the best waiter tonight! His name was David. He was amazing in every way! I have never been so satisfied with the service we were provided this evening!
