Hands down, this is the best pizza in town, awesome pizza crew, and a stellar offering of great beer for take out. We have pizza from here several times a month. Last night we had the December Pizza of the Month, Chinese Take Out.” WOW! This is our new favorite!!!! It was truly fantastic! The flavor combo was so delicious. We had ours topped with tofu and chose the sesame crust. Superb!

Visited this place a few weeks ago for the first time. As soon as I walked in the small establishment, someone called out from the kitchen “Hello!”. Good start! Nice guys there… great selection of canned microbrews from the area, and the pizza was excellent. there are a few tables to sit down… it’s primarily a take-out place. Definitely will pop in again when I’m in that area!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The pizzas are always picture-perfect with all the deliciousness to back up their looks. We have tried a few of their specialty pies and have yet to be disappointed. (This is the only place where I have enjoyed a BBQ Pizza) Luke and the rest of the gang are always so kind and welcoming. They also have a couple coolers in the front full of yummy craft beers to pair with your meal. Highly recommend Asheville Pizza South. Cheers!

We don’t eat pizza often anymore but when we do, it’s gotta be Asheville Pizza South! Their staff on the phone and pizza that we pick up is always consistently outstanding. Just remember, you get what you pay for. You pay economy, you get economy! You order from this place, you get quality food, hand crafted from happy and pleasant people you’ll enjoy interacting with. I doubt you’ll eat any better pizza in South Asheville!

Be aware, they raised their prices back in February and have not changed the menu posted on Google. Over $50 for two pizzas. The pizza is delicious, but that is outrageous for carry-out.
Edit: Pizza was not the quality I remember it being. Higher prices and lower quality food means this is the last time I’m patronizing Beer City Pizza/Asheville City Pizza. Y’all have full control over what menu pictures are on your Google Business page. The fact that the menu posted is from 2021 is on YOU. Deceptive marketing and horrible customer service.

Loved Loved loved this place. The inside & outside decor is aesthetically pleasing. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, it is VERY SPACIOUS inside, I actually got lost lol but I didn’t mind due to the awesomeness of the rest of the restaurant view. They were doing a blood drive the night we visited and I saw they had A private movie theater which is pretty dope. I will definitely dine in next time to enjoy the full experience but I would highly recommend this place. Our food was delicious especially my burger. The host was also super friendly and courteous!!

What a great pizza! Asheville pizza really hit it for us. The flavors were outstanding! (We had the Moon Pie with red sauce) Their red sauce is beautifully balanced between the acid and sweet with generous chunks of tomato. Each bite had several ingredients in it and the crust was sublime, crispy, soft, tasty and Parmeasean covered. The service was awesome, the gents were fast with the pizza, great in their service and kind in attitude. We will order again.

Edit: so good I’m back days later to try another flavor! Got the one with walnuts and blue cheese this time. OMG. Love the gluten free crust! So delish! The Parmesan cheese sprinkle tops it off. Toppings are plentiful and fresh. Picked up pizzas and service was friendly!
