I cannot express to you how much we love this diner.
We order from them at minimum twice per month, if not once per week. The food is always consistent, and always delicious. Always. From the appetizers, to the entrees, we can count on a good meal from here.
I have visited the restaurant twice now and it is a beautiful diner. Clean from head to toe, unlike many diners, and it seems well taken care of. Staff is friendly too.
On our most recent visit, I asked for meal edits/ accommodations and they made every request possible, and it was SO good (as usual).
As someone who spent 10+ years in Westchester County, moving to Dutchess County and finding good food is hard sometimes, but at this diner you can always rely on a good meal.
Some of our favorites are ANYTHING with the pulled pork (they make a phenomenal pulled pork), the burgers, the potsticker appetizer, the tomato rice soup (my favorite!), and the list goes on.
If anyone asks, would I have one criticism? I’d say the coleslaw is not my favorite, but that’s probably a “me” thing as I’m very very picky with my coleslaw. It needs “more” in my opinion, maybe more mayo and a pinch of sugar, splash of white wine vinegar. But some people enjoy it the way it is.
Do yourself a favor and eat here, you won’t regret it!

I love coming here. I’ve been here many times. I got a Cheeseburger this time which was really good and juicy. The service here is always good our waitress Kaitlin was nice and helpful. I love the atmosphere too! I would highly recommend this place!

Went to this place after a nice long hike by Nuclear Lake and it did not disappoint. Got a breakfast sandwich, grilled chicken pita wrap, patty melt, and sundae for dessert (all between two people). Bill came out to about $70. Not bad at all. Highly recommend.

I have lived near this diner for over 9 years now. Although I pass it often, there is something about the dark curtains that seem to be always closed that was not inviting. Perhaps it’s just me, but I like to look in a restaurant and see people laughing and enjoying their meal. I digress. My wife and I met another couple there at their suggestion. Immediately upon entering, I was impressed by the ambiance and warm greetings. Because all of us, for one reason or another, we’re cooties adverse we a asked to be seated away from what seemed to be a cluster of people. Perhaps that is easier for the wait staff. Our request was honored with ease since this place is deceptively large. I ordered my “test meal”, chicken parm with spaghetti , extra sauce. I posit that this is so basic that if any restaurant can’t make that plate well, the prognosis is negative for anything more complicated. Also ordered was a BLT and a Cobb salad. The service was very good food presentation was excellent, and there was a good time had by all. The BLT and the Cobb salad got thumbs up . I liked the flavor of my chicken parm also. Bland food is a problem in this area. My only slight complaint is that my chicken breast was appropriately thick but slightly overcooked. NOT A DEAL BREAKER AT ALL. I would rather have a thicker cut that was a little dry than the thin cutlets that are being floated as an adequate meal. The bathroom was clean and odor free. I absolutely would return to them again.

Stopped here for brunch prior to going to a T-ball parade. Friendly owners & staff. Great omelette & service. My only disappointment was I had requested for well done home fries (not pushy, raw on the inside) but the home fries arrived uncooked in the middle making them like mush/ boiled potatoes.
