I came not fully knowing what to expect but left content. Lines were around the building and plenty of people inside, but it moved extremely quick. Got the large beefy sandwich and spuds(tots). Service was fast and friendly and the food came out super fast. Beefy King has a simple menu and its very efficient. My sandwich and tots came out hot. The sandwich itself was so juicy and the meat was so tender. Overall the experience was straightforward and pleasant. The inside reminds you of an old school style restaurant which may or may not be everyones taste. Simple menu, not very pricey and the food did its job.

This place was amazing and iconic, No surprise that its been around forever. The roast beef was everything you would want, sliced thin, tender, and worth every penny. I added onions, which I would suggest for sure. Highly recommend this place, wish we had one closer to home. I also liked the sauce options, all that you would get at the nationaly recognized roast beef sandwhich place, with a couple extra options.

Amazing roast beef sandwich!! I mean it was very fresh and just absolutely delicious! I should have ordered more of them! BBQ Pork sandwich was very solid as well. The tater tots are super crispy and tasty. Service is fast and the 1960s style decor is pretty cool. Would definitely recommend for lunch if you’re in the area!

I had seen this place over the years on food shows and always wanted to go. However, it is rare that I am in that area.
I was at Gideon’s Bakehouse and came over for lunch.
The food is delicious and not expensive at all!
I had the roast beef sandwich and it was perfect. My son got a pastrami, next time I am going to get that for sure, he said it was amazing.
The decor looks like 1970, but so what, it makes it charming.

From NY and was craving a good pastrami sandwich and man this place did not disappoint. Fast hot, and fresh sliced hot sandwiches on the Kaiser roll. The place has been around since 1968, and the food will tell you why. Don’t change a thing, from the food or the decor. 5 star, all the way.

We saw this place on a YouTube channel and decided to check it out. First off the old school decor is awesome. Then the service, was great. Since this was our 1st time, the cashier was patient and went over the menu with us. It’s fast paced and you can see them preparing the food right in front of you. We both got beef sandwiches and they were delicious. The bun was so soft and the horsey sauce is way better than Arbys. We will be returning.

A classic, no-frills sandwich spot. The food is great, and the hot BBQ sauce hits the spot. If you’re a fan of Arby’s, you’ve got to try Beefy King. The chili cheese spuds were delicious, and the tater tots are always perfectly crisp, never soggy!

Parents have been eating their stuff since the 80’s. Awesome, unchanged retro sign. The ONLY thing we have EVER ordered was roast beef sandwiches (maybe some spuds once in a while). This is one of the few take-outs I have to pay the cat tax for. They go nuts for the meat.
