Had another lovely visit to White Hart Beefeater and wanted to give a special mention to our server, Kirsten, who really made the experience stand out. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was spot on — perfectly cooked, hot, and full of flavour. Everything came out in good time, and the portions were generous as always. The restaurant itself felt clean, comfortable, and relaxed.
What really made the visit memorable was Kirsten’s excellent service. She checked in at the right moments, made sure everything was just right, and kept a warm, positive attitude throughout. It’s always nice when someone clearly cares about the customer experience.
Overall, a great meal with fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited White Hart Beefeater and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a relaxed, family-friendly vibe that made it perfect for both a casual dinner and a special occasion.
The food was excellent. The steak was cooked exactly as requested — juicy, tender, and full of flavour. The portions were generous, and everything arrived hot and well-presented. The sides complemented the main perfectly, and the dessert was the ideal finishing touch. You can really tell they take pride in serving quality pub classics done properly.
The staff were attentive, polite, and efficient without being overbearing. Even during busy periods, service felt organised and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

As a family we love to eat at the White heart in Guestling. The food is exceptionally well cooked, I had a steak and asked for it to be cooked medium well done and it was cooked to perfection exactly as I would have expected. We were served by Kirsten and the service was excellent. Kirsten is very efficient, very polite, very friendly and very kind. The management in this restaurant is also excellent especially the lady we spoke to upon leaving. In fact the whole experience was so wonderful, from when we arrived and the helpful kind and friendly attitude of the gentleman there to welcome us and show us to our table all the way through to receiving the bill at the end.
It is note worthy to say also that even though there were children in the restaurant including our daughter all the children were calm and happy sat at their tables.
There was not an atmosphere of rowdiness or chaos as we have experienced in other restaurants.
The White Hart in Guestling is a pleasure to take the whole family to.

20 minute wait to even order food, which came out over 45 minutes after we arrived. 2 meals not even edible, burned brioche buns, hair in coleslaw, sauces did not taste as they should, dead fly in the very old and disgusting vinegar and manager did not seem like she had the confidence to deal with issues, just shrugged and took vinegar away. Family of 4, 2 of which left with stomach ache ! Not acceptable !!! Other staff were friendly and approachable.

Beefeater please revamp this beautifully located eatery , freshen up outside and in celebrating those cracking views, serve freshly cooked simple food. Employ a respected chef who can deliver at mass with newly trained enthusiastic staff. Do a relaunch as i guarantee success , we live local and many times have tried the white hart hoping for improvement to no avail. I imagine this has been barely breaking even so please invest.

Looks tired, needs updating although clean, gents toilets were OK but ladies was in poor condition.
Food starters were very cold, probably pre-made and kept in chiller as it was so cold and tasteless, mains needed hot gravy to warm rest of meal.
Shame as staff were really nice and attentive.
