Best meal we’ve had in a long time! And the best burger EVER! We enjoyed a two course meal as part of premier inn stay whilst house hunting and wow we weren’t disappointed. Blaise was incredible from start to finish, friendly – nothing was too much trouble! The bacon burger and double stack burgers were amazing, we even doubled up the chips which defeated us! Woweeeeeeeee we’ll be back thanks so much !

Beefeater, Gloucester – Friendly service and some standout food. The chips were perfect – crispy outside, fluffy inside – and the goujons with tasty sauces hit the spot. Meat was a bit inconsistent, with some pieces tender and others chewy. The kids’ play area out back was closed, and the interior feels worn, though it might just show how popular the place is. £80 for a family of four (with unlimited Pepsi refills, service charge, and Blue Light Card discount) felt fair. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would return to try other dishes.

Was here for breakfast as I was staying at the Premier Inn opposite. Food was very good and well cooked. Service was acceptable but I didn’t feel rushed. This was part of the meal deal with Premier Inn.

Graeme our waiter was lovely. Our meal wasn’t so good. Chips were cold and were overcooked, also a small portion. Mushy peas were the smallest portion I’ve seen. Another waiter said that’s the portion so didn’t offer to get some more. Garden peas cold. Won’t be going again what a shame. Had 40% off voucher but still expensive.

The interior was nice.
Slow service, waited at host desk for about 10minutes with no one in sight. Had to pay at bar.

The breakfast was disappointing, plain, just tasted of microwave.

Small juice glasses constantly have to go up to refill. Waitress took the drinks station few minutes early too which was inconvenient.

I almost never leave 1* review but this place is abysmal. I don’t even know what the fries were supposed to be but everything from the presentation to the taste was absolutely awful. The burger was dry and was the cheapest frozen patty I think you could buy, with cheddar cheese in (weird cheese for a burger) and just to top it off the coke/pepsi was flat. But atleast we got a mega sized portion of coleslaw and half a chips worth of BBQ sauce. The prices here are astronomical for some of the worst food you could get

Coming from South Wales to meet up with friends from the midlands, this was about half way for both of us. We booked a meal deal with the Premier inn. We had a drink on arrival and booked our table for 7pm in the restaurant area for our evening meal. The serving staff were great, the place is clean and the food was good standard pub grub. However, we were a bit disappointed at the end of the night when we decided to have one for the road. Went up to the bar and a stern lady told me the bar was closed and it closes at 10pm, this was 10.02. When I told her that the website states it is open until 11pm she told me there’s nothing she could do as it has been shutting at 10pm for 2 years. I asked why the time (on this site) had not been altered and Mrs Stern told me she could do nothing about that. Really??? What’s the matter with getting your regional manager to get whoever updates the site to alter it? My main gripe was not the closing time, but the fact that nobody had come to warn us the bar was closing soon, or rung a bell of some sort. You’ve eaten, we’ve had your money, now there’s the door. If we’d known we would have had another drink and been out of there by 10.30 no problem, not exactly into the early hours is it? It wont stop us meeting up there again as everything else was fine.

Although the staff told us they were short of staff for the night, service was still pretty quick. Food was served not too slow as well!

Food was a bit overpriced but that seems standard for the franchise.

Visited the Beefeater Twelve Bells today and again my self and my family were amazed with the experience. We had a lovely greeting at the door and seated by Jo, restaurant manager. Our waitress Rosie was lovely as well, very professional, and severed us with a smile, felt very looked after. Josh on the bar wad excellent aswell. We will definitely revisit the Twelve Bells again. Massively reckon this restaurant to anyone. Thank you to all the staff, lovely evening.
