There are times when you go to a restaurant and enjoy the food and the service, and everything is as you expected. But sometimes, you come across a restaurant that fills you with happiness. This was my experience here.
From the moment you enter, you are warmly greeted and immediately feel the warmth of the place.
The food was absolutely delicious—the tenderness and flavor of the meat were amazing, as were the sauces and the fries. To top it all off, the homemade banana pudding was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for the wonderful experience

The meat was cooked beautifully and the flavour was excellent. We did find the salt level slightly on the higher side for our taste, but it was still very enjoyable overall.
The only thing missing for us was a fresh element. Having just meat felt a bit heavy, and we think the menu would really benefit from adding some lighter, fresh options. A simple rocket and tomato salad, or some fresh onions on the side, would balance the richness perfectly. With those additions, we would happily have eaten even more.
We also noticed that sparkling mineral water wasn’t available on the menu, which would have been a great addition alongside the meal.
Overall, a very good experience ,just a small suggestion that could make it even better.

Went to Beef Smokehouse and was greeted by a man in a smart suit at the door, who showed me to my table and opened the door for me. No menus are on the table, nor is one given to you; instead, they are available through a QR code scan on the table, which I don’t mind sometimes, but it’s much nicer to have a physical menu. I ordered food for me and my friend: two briskets, one mac and cheese, one coleslaw, and two drinks. I first ordered my drink, labelled as ‘Ice Cola’ on the menu, which I thought was original Coca-Cola with ice, but it turned out to be a cheap knock-off Coke in a can, with no cup. The food arrived just warm, not hot. The mac and cheese was nice, though I had to eat it quickly as it was losing heat fast. The two briskets came on one plate, so I assumed the other was still to come. Regardless, I told my friend to eat his first since I had my mac and cheese, and I thought my meat wouldn’t be far behind. After my friend finished his meal and I had been waiting a while, I went to the front counter and asked if the other brisket was on its way, only to be told they put it on the same tray, even though we were eating together and not alone. The food was also served on steel school dinner trays, which are cold, making the food cool down even faster. Overall, I rate Beef Smokehouse an 8/10. I think they could improve their service and food timing. I hope to return in a few months to see if anything has changed.

The best I’ve had. I love BBQ and will seek it out whenever I can, but this place tops them all. The brisket was so good – super tasty, excellent smoke ring, and incredibly tender. The Beef Rib – exquisite. Great portion, beautiful rendered fat, and fall off the bone. The best thing was the ability to order by the weight. Too often your don’t get quite enough, but here you dial up exactly what you need.
The team are super friendly too – stopping to chat and tell us about the operation.
We’ll be coming back very very frequently.

Food was amazing!! You MUST try their sausages! The best sausages I’ve ever had! Service, also, was brilliant. This is one place that still allow you to bring your own cakes in and sing happy birthday which we really really appreciated! They care about their customers and NOT only thinking about money!
The place was a tad cold for me hence 4* for the atmosphere but I understand why it’s cold, probs to stop the place from smelling because it’s so busy! Busy because great service and great food!

Great location, no wait for a table of 2. Ordering is so easy can be done seated or at the counter. The food was delicious and exceeded expectations. The staff including the front of house and chef both made me feel welcome and it was lovely to hear about their concept of menu and where the flavours of the food derived from. It is not like anything I have tasted before. Worth every penny. The banana pudding is a show stopper. Must visit again.

Busy spot we arrived around 6:00 PM without a booking. The place was packed, and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but it was well worth it!
The highlights were definitely the BBQ beef ribs—they were incredibly tender and flavorful. We also absolutely loved the mac and cheese; it was easily our favorite side. However, the brisket was a bit of a letdown as it was too dry. Overall, a great atmosphere and mostly amazing food. We’ll be back for those ribs!

Very quick service. You just scan qr code and order via your mobile phone. Order will be served on your table. Brisket and beef rib was juicy and delicious, melt in your mouth. Sides were also delicious. We didn’t try banana pudding as we were full.
Nice friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

I’ve always wanted to try proper southern style BBQ food, so when I saw this place had opened I knew I wanted to try it. After seeing so many good reviews and posts on socials my partner and I came to check it out and we were not disappointed! Could very easily eat here again and again.
We were greeted on arrival & seated immediately. Everyone who worked there was so accommodating and friendly, it was so lovely to see! There was only a short wait before the food arrived and it was 10/10!
We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered but the stars were The Beef Short Rib & Brisket, which literally melted and had a char on the outside which was so crispy and full of flavour . I also need to mention the BBQ sauce, it was so moreish and tangy I couldn’t stop dipping into it!
After we finished eating, the owner / chef came to see how everything was and was even kind enough to explain the process on how the links were made when we asked.
Lastly, I mentioned it was my birthday and they kindly gave us the desserts on the house I had the brownie which was warm and gooey and my partner had the banana pudding which was beautifully light and fresh.
I honestly cannot recommend this place enough and we definitely will be back again!

Absolutely outstanding experience at Beef Smokehouse in Manchester. I ordered the brisket and a beef rib, and both were cooked to absolute perfection. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with that deep, authentic smoky flavour you hope for from a proper smokehouse. The brisket practically melted in my mouth, and the beef rib was massive, rich, and perfectly seasoned.
What really stood out to me was the quality of the meat — truly top-notch. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into the smoking process. As someone who specifically looks for halal options, this was easily the best halal smoked beef restaurant I’ve ever tried.
If you’re in Manchester and love smoked meats, this place is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back.
