I ordered mine is a carryout first time I’ve ever been to this franchise and I was impressed. The beef was very good and a lot more than the competition gives the fries were the best fries I’ve ever had a decent meal I will go back and it wasn’t overly expensive

Kinda disappointed in this place. I finally had the chance to stop by. The beef was pretty good, not bad but average for a beef sandwich. I had the cheesy beef on garlic bread. I ordered the mini thinking it was at least a 6 inch but it was actually 2.5 inches, which was ridiculous, something that should be on a kids menu, and it was $9. Wow. I couldn’t taste the garlic either, maybe they forgot? Hot giardiniera was an up charge and I didn’t get any oil in it, just dry vegetables. The tables weren’t wiped and really greasy so I had to wipe mine with a napkin.
Anyhow, I’m starting to see a pattern developing with corporate restaurants, everything is tiny and prices are enormous. It boggles my mind that people still pay so much for so little. I gave this place 2 stars because of the tiny portion for the price but overall service was ok, atmosphere was ok. I won’t be coming back, I’d rather patronize a small local place where I know I will get a good portion for a reasonable price and support my community.

The Chicago Dog is definitely better than portillos! I haven’t eaten portillos dog in years bc the skin is tough and dog is tasteless. Beef Shack dog is perfect and tasty. The fries are delish and so much better than the other place. Their beefs beat the competition, too.
It would be nice if the staff would say thank you for spending they’re time and money at their establishment. No one says thank anymore. They expect the customers to say please and thank you now.

Ordered a pickup while working on a cold weekend afternoon. This was my first time trying the place out and it was hands down one of the best beefs I’ve had. The fries were fresh and perfectly salty. Whoever they have working on Sundays is throwing down in the kitchen!

Went on 3/5 a half hour before close (so not like i walked in at closing) and was treated horribly. Literally no one said a word to me, i ordered, waited for my food, and took my food to go without any staff saying one single word. They were rude and clearly annoyded that I was there.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff. We were greeted immediately when we walked up to the counter. Ordering was quick and easy. Grabbed our drink cups and walked to an area by the front door to fill up. The drink area was also clean. The food came out within a couple minutes, even with other customers there and cars rolling through the drive-thru. The roll of paper towels mounted to the wall at each table was convenient. The food was piping hot, and came out just the way we ordered. Beef Shack has surpassed “P” IMHO…just wish garlic bread was an option.

The beef was dry, the huge dry buns for the sausage were so dry. Didn’t get any toppings or gravy on it either like it states is to be on it. The fries were soggy. The shakes had no flavor. Service wasn’t great. They forgot some of our stuff. Very expensive for taste and presentation. Wouldn’t go back
