*****Carry-out only!!!!!

Let me start by saying that my son and I LOVE eating here and have NEVER had a poor experience in-person. Food has been amazing and the service as well!

Today, we ordered carry-out. I ordered a sirloin steak with Cesar salad and zucchini. The first thing I noticed is that I did not get my salad. When I called, she was very apologetic and took my information for a free side salad later. Unfortunately, I did not want to call to complain again after I found my zucchini to be less than “maybe” four cut slices….and my medium cooked steak……although the seasoning was good…..not the steak I have received from them in-person.

Everything else we ordered (chicken tacos and wings) were good though! This just threw me off because it was my dinner and I was not super happy.

In all honesty, we weren’t expecting too much from this place, as we have been here before but about 12 years ago and it wasn’t that memorable then. Even when not expecting much, this place still managed to disappoint. The server was nice but not very attentive. The food was meh. My wife ordered the pulled pork mac & cheese and it came out luke warm, which means it had been sitting a while, and tasted as if it came out of a box. The pulled pork on the mac was decent. I ordered the crispy chicken tender bowl. The key word here is “bowl.” Now, it did come in a bowl but it was basically 2 chicken tenders with a side of mashed potatoes (and shredded cheese), which didn’t even cover the bottom of the bowl. I will say that the tenders were cooked well but the mashed potatoes tasted of instant mash. Here are a few other low-lights:
– bathroom was dirty
– floors were filthy
– decorations were lacking
– they had 6 TVs in the dining room, not necessarily a low-light but we don’t go out to eat to watch TV, however, when you are waiting forever for your food, you have to have something to do, I guess.

It is very doubtful that we will return here, even for the trivia night.

Food was good.
Hostess was attentive.
Atmosphere, mediocre.
Prices too high for average Joe.
Its why I haven’t been to most any restaurant in a decade.
I’ve heard many people say the same thing. They’ve out priced themselves.

Some friends and I came here last week and enjoyed our meals immensely. Fish and chips was really good. Today. I brought my family here thinking that it would be just as good. The food was mostly good. Two of my daughters had curly fries and one of them looks like they had scraped every last one out of the bottom as there were three actual curly fries and the rest were bits and pieces. The Caesar salad was just adequate. It looked nice in the picture but it didn’t taste so hot. The biggest problem by far was our waitress Janice. She never came back and asked if our food was good. I had to go up to the bar and ask for silverware because we were short one. Still no waitress. I had to go back up and ask for water when we were almost through with our meal because every one of our glasses were empty. She then brought a pitcher and just left it on the table. The three people that ordered fish and chips did not like coleslaw and we were told by our waitress that we could substitute something else. We asked what we could substitute and we’re given a list verbally. We all picked macaroni and cheese. When we got our bill we were charged another $8 for macaroni and cheese. I asked why we were charged for this and she said “oh that cost more” I asked why we were not told that when we ordered and she said it was in the menu. It would have been nice to know as we had already ordered and our menus were closed when she listed off what we could order as a substitute. I stated I don’t think we’ll be back. Her response was “great” I thought I misheard her so I asked my daughter. What did she say she turned around and looked at me and said in a louder voice “GREAT” My grandson went to the restroom and passed by her by the kitchen where she was talking to a young man about the table up front that was being too picky. She pointed to us. So disappointed in this young woman’s work ethic.

quick service.. the “blackened “fish was bland and more a lightly brown than blackened not crispy skin as I prefer very river fishy taste to the thicker portions.. broccoli was not soft or seasoned.. french fries and lemonade were good.. wish I could a tried some of the alcohol versions.. maybe next round lol.. overall it was an OK experience

Sat for 10+ minutes while they were slow only 4 other tables occupied. Waitress told us to seat ourselves and she’d give us menues. Another table who sat before us was given menus and got their drinks ordered. Our waitress decided to clean the table behind us, still hadn’t given us menus or even spoke to us. Not a good first impression.

First time trying this place with the kids. They had a special for cheeseburger, wings and fries at a really decent price. We were seated quickly. Service was quick. And food came out in a decent time. No wait at all. As for the food itself it wasn’t bad. But wasn’t the best. It was worth what we paid. No complaints.

You charge too much to serve such mediocre food. I ordered the steak Garlic melt AND a side salad. The melt had no flavor, dry meat on dry bread. Had no fries, I guess here AND means instead of.
Lettuce was old, wet & browning . Croutons were stale. When waitress finally brought food we had to remind her we never got our motzerell sticks, they were ok once we got em. Ordered a Fuzzy Navel, was told you don’t have that. Which is odd since you have a full bar. Husband liked the flavor of the chicken strip batter. 2 stars since the waitress did offer a 10%discount for forgetting sticks, offering to make new salad.
