My husband and I went here on a saturday evening. First time here, cute little spot in a shopping center. We grabbed seats and the server came over right away and took our drink orders. The food was good i was expecting the cheese steak to be a little bigger then what it was. The wings were really good and the prices were great. They seemed very short staff though they only had one server and one person in the kitchen. I would come here again to try something else.

Walked in and it was empty so I got a little nervous but it was really good food. The roast beef was very tender. The au jus could have had a stronger flavor but it was adequate. The natural cut fries were great. Definitely worth staying. Highly recommended!

I used to live in Bethlehem and came here often in the 90’s so I stopped by on my way home to Pittsburgh from NYC. I got a beer and cheese-steak and it only cost $18 including tip. Food was good and came out fast. Renovation is nice – the old layout was too “woody” and dark. Dive bar prices with a nice new look.

If you have a craving for a burger, go here!!! Had the bacon, mushroom, Swiss burger today. With fries in the side. Hubby tried the Rodeo Burger and loved it as well.

I can’t say much about the place other than it’s just a standard bar that happens to serve food. There’s a good variety in their daily special, and their desserts tend to be halfway decent. Good prices on draft beer, and decent selection of well drinks overall. Not my first choice in places to eat but for some reason the group loves this place even if it is just an okay place to get food. Lots of big screen TVs to watch the game or whatever sporting event you value and friendly wait staff, never have to wait too long for food to come out, definitely a great selection of fried and deep fried food here, it beats the hell out of Staley’s as I’ve never gotten food poisoning here opposed to some of the other local establishments.

We ordered a Delmonico steak sandwich with lettuce, tomato and onion with extra cherry peppers and pickles. We also ordered sweet and spicy wings with extra blue cheese. Order of fries and ond onion rings. We picked up the order. Got home and the sandwich had no pickles and no peppers. The onions rings and fries were fine. The wings tasted like they were leftovers in the refrigerator for three weeks. They had a very old odd taste to them. I ate a couple. My husband tried one and we threw the rest in the garbage. It’s a shame. We used to love the food here. Definitely will not be going back. Raised the prices and the food quality goes down hill.

I had the Baron burger as I had read the beer case and it stated it was the readers choice best burger I have to say it did not dissapoint. It was Huge like a Burger my uncle would make on the grill and it was flame broiled so it had a great char that I didn’t know I was craving. The fries were a handcut style and the small sides of pickled peppers and pickles were the perfect addition to such a great meal. For the price it was definitely a deal. The ambiance of the the restaurant was more dive bar style which was perfect for me. I am glad I was staying at the Fairfield to have been able to discover this place. I was as satisfied as I could be with the service and the flavor. If your trying to decide whether you should come here just take my advice and DO IT…

This should no longer be called the Beef Baron. The aesthetics are gone. They gutted all the woodwork and it is an open room with tables and a basic Bar. It is loud and bright. As a Bethlehem Native we enjoyed the OLD setup because it was cozy and the food was basic and good. The food now is not good. The Chili is like paste and tastes burnt like it has been sitting in the pot all day and it was barely Luke warm when served. The cheese steak didn’t have the meat finly chopped and I didn’t see any onions in it not to mention for $11 it was light on the meat.

So, from what I understand, the original owner sold the place and a lot of older people that I’ve spoken to seem to not like change and think it went down hill. I also see a few of them took it upon themselves to write a bad review. This was my first time eating here and I quite enjoyed it. The service was a little slow, but my beef bistro sandwich was juicy and tender. My fries were hand cut, cooked at the right temperature and seasoned perfectly. Please ignore the angry boomer reviews and try for yourself! 🙂
