Decided to try for the first time now that it’s been open a few weeks. Attempted drive through on a Friday at 5 PM. Only me and one car in line and nobody dining in… not a good sign. After waiting a few minutes with no response I called the restaurant to see if the drive thru was open. They said “oops the guy isn’t paying attention to his headset” The kid comes on and says “Welcome to Beef-a-Roo. Just so you know we are currently cash only.” Tip: update: Successful dine in a few months later.

Me and my Boyfriend always come here because the food is always really good, one of the complaints we had was the service was always mediocre. But today we were thoroughly impressed when they brought our shake and food to the table instead of the front counter, they walked by and followed up with all of their other dine in customers and they even took our dirty tray away and asked for refills. They all had a good attitude and smiles on their faces, would definitely be returning!

***Update: went back on 2/20/26, manager made it right.***
Still be cautious, watch those burgers folks!!!! Hopefully they have this under control now!

Second time receiving a undercooked/raw burger!
When you try and call they won’t answer the phone!!!!
Horrible quality control!

It was our first time going to this location, overall I felt the food was worth going to this one agian. The cashier was super helpful and friendly!! She did forget a couple items that I had to go back for but made up for it giving a bigger size drink than we ordered. I know everyone has thier days, so it wasn’t an issue. The food was fairly decent, the cheddar cheese fries are absolutely delicious as well as the Western burger. With that said I wasn’t overly impressed with the men’s restroom. The urinal and toilet were dirty, and overall the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in several hours. It was a slow time period of the day so that could be a factor. I only add this because I work in customer service at a gas station, and we like to keep everything fresh and clean for our customers. If your looking for a chill place I recommend thus place!!

I say Beef-a-Ron’t—-Either hire a restaurant consultant or shut it down! Don’t even bother opening joint number 2. Your business is wasting space for somebody else that can get it right!!!

My wife and I decided to give this new fast food chain a shot on their opening day, Friday, and then, against our better judgment, went back on Saturday. Spoiler alert: this place makes gas-station food look like Michelin-star dining.

Friday Fiasco:
The fries were an absolute crime against potatoes. I’d rather gnaw on frozen Ore-Ida straight from the bag. Soggy, sad, and somehow tasting like regret.
The burgers? Barely lukewarm, like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp since the Reagan administration. Flavor-wise, they were a dead ringer for a gas-station sandwich—mediocre at best, and that’s being generous.
Ordered medium drinks, got cups that looked like they were sized for a toddler’s tea party. I’ve seen bigger portions in a shot glass.

Saturday’s Sorrow:
Swapped the fries for cheese curds, hoping for redemption. They were decent while hot, but once they cooled down, they turned into rubbery sadness nuggets. And no marinara sauce for dipping? What is this, amateur hour?
The olive burger wasn’t terrible, but it was like it forgot its personality at home. Just cheese, olives, mayo, and my desperate attempt to save it with extra mayo. Still just… okay.
The roast beef sandwich was a smidge above average but drier than a stand-up comic bombing on stage. Oh, and it had this weird SPAM aftertaste—like, did they borrow the recipe from a 1950s fallout shelter?
The chocolate shake was a bizarre experience. It was basically a vanilla shake with a half-hearted squirt of chocolate syrup, barely stirred. When I asked for a better mix, the staff acted like I’d requested a five-course meal but begrudgingly gave it a whirl. Still weird.

Bottom Line: This place is the definition of “meh.” Why bother when Wendy’s and Culver’s are flipping better burgers, Arby’s is slinging superior roast beef, and McDonald’s or Dairy Queen can whip up a shake that doesn’t taste like a science experiment gone wrong? I can’t believe this is a chain—feels more like a prank. I’ll give it one more shot in a month or two, but I’m betting this joint will be shuttered before Summer 2026. Save your money and your taste buds.

My first review, following their opening last week. Bottom line up front, they have room for much improvement.

Food was “decent” at best, but have to admit, did not meet what I was expecting, especially with regard to flavor. Portion size was reasonable for cost.

Speed of service has a lot of room for improvement. I went through drive through and after placing order, waited approximately 15 minutes for before receiving my order.

I am going to give them the shadow of a doubt and attribute that most of this was due to being in their first week of operation. I will try again in the future and will adjust rating appropriately.

Got here around 4:30. Left around 6:00 soft opening day.
For the “renovations” they did the floor is extremely dirty. Not just here and there from people coming in but i mean years and years worth of grease on the floor. Water stains on the ceiling. The place hasnt changed at all from the old Peguin Point. We walk in. Managers are screaming at workers. People are standing around waiting for the orders. There is no clear line. The person takes our order (person with Pink hair EXTREMELY nice and took care of us.) No receipt. We wait 20 mins for our food. Banana milkshakes were amazing, seems like cool whip instead of regular whipped cream. We open our double bacon cheeseburger and we have a … tenderloin? I go up. Takes 10 mins for a manager to “notice” me. (They kept glancing at me but wouldnt speak to me) finally they ask me whats wrong and i told him double BACON cheeseburger. He tells the kitchen a regular double cheeseburger on the fly. At this point, whatever i just want a regular burger. Takes another 10 mins. And finally we have the burger!!!!! Fries were cold and stale. Onion rings were HOT. Cheese curds are AMAZING. Burger was HOT. The “free” Tenderloin was good but I have never had one before so what do I know. Service from cashier was Great. Service from managers were terrible. Overall not impressed. Wont be back for a while. I will say the price is amazing. But you pay with your sanity.

The food here is really good. Only suggestion i would have would be i wish the burgers were a bit thicker as they were more of a smash burger thickness. The building is a repurposed penguin pointe and could use some updating that is why the ding on atmosphere. The woman working register was very friendly and helpful with ordering as this was my first time here. I got the pina colada shake and onion rings and the 5 dollar special sandwich. I will definitely be back and look forward to them expanding this chain closer to home.

Might update if the food is good. How do you get my online order 20 minutes ago and then proceed to make me wait another 20 minutes and counting? Why is there a drive thru if you cant make the food even remotely quickly? BTW this was the same price as Culvers.

The floors are sticky, the service was crappy and painstakingly slow, the food was subpar, and they messed up orders.
The person who took our orders couldn’t read and they don’t know the difference between grilled chicken and crispy chicken. 0 out of 10, would not recommend.
