I will go back and try again in hopes they up their burger game. For a place called Beef-a-Roo their burgers barely contain any beef. They were dry and thin. Sonic has better burgers. The fries were just ok. They do have a great variety of food though.

The restaurant is clean and the workers are kind and attentive. The burgers were SO good and I loved the cheese curds. The fries needed salt. The onion rings were very good too!

If you need a dark parking lot with to engage in nefarious activities this is the place. Floors stickier than a toddlers tablet screen. Bring entertainment because they butcher the cow in back, process it and cook it to order. They forgot to milk ours first apparently because 45 minutes into our delightful experience we left without milkshakes.

That was about the worst meal we ever had. Fries were old and cold and must have been sitting around all afternoon. No excuse for serving those, no one else was in the restaurant and they should have been cooked to order. Burgers were just AWFUL. They were thin, dry and overcooked. Even the basic cheeseburger was hardly edible. GF said it was the worst burger she ever had. Three bites and she was done. I had to get ketchup to drown the dry mushroom swiss burger to make it edible. Smashed so thin there was no meat left. I now understand why there are seldom any cars in the parking lot. Spent $25.00 for a meal that was worse than any of the fast food burger joints.
Now the folks there were very nice and friendly. Place was clean. Too bad the food was terrible.

This was our first visit. The burgers had good flavor but they were very thin and VERY dry. Stingy on the condiments on the burger. Sweet potato fries were ok. The baked potato was old and dry. I will give them another try maybe. Not the worth the price though for what we got.

This place is great, the staff is so nice, restrooms nice and clean. And the food is super, too. The burger was really good…a smashburger which is supposed to be crispy and well done. And the onion rings are off the chain. Best I’ve ever had and they’ve started me on a new onion rings obsession and I haven’t found any to match them. I go back very time I’m in the area.

Better than the Spot. Was $40 for a family of 4. Portions aren’t large but we’re enough. The Burger kinda tasted like Burger King with smaller portions. Fries were good but small.

The food is great, but I would like to applaud the genuine, good natured, and highly attentive staff at this Spring Hill restaurant. After a Girl Scouts meeting my daughter and I went through the line to grab some fries and cheese curds. After receiving our food, (extremely fresh and delicious!) my car decided to die right in the drive through. This team didn’t hesitate and immediately sprang into action to help. They took what could have been an extreme headache and made it bearable and helped get us home! When I asked the assistant manager what can i do to say thanks? Let people know about us. They didn’t have to help, but they did. As we drove home, my daughter says, “it’s nice to see people helping people”. I have to agree. Fantastic food as well! Cheese curds are so good!

I went there this evening, October 26, with my two sons. It was our first time going. I ordered the avocado turkey wrap and was absolutely blown away the flavor. The chipotle sauce and cream cheese made this wrap spectacular. My sons both had chicken fingers and were both well pleased with those, not really thinking them better or worse than any they had had from several other places as they are lovers of chicken fingers everywhere they go. My one son, however, had the onion rings and loved them and finished them first before he even started his chicken fingers. And my other son chose the cheese curds and equally enjoyed those. He compared them to a rival restaurant across the way and stated that as far as taste is concerned, the other restaurant barely squeaked by, but the texture of Beef-A-Roo’s exceeded the competition. We also took the opportunity to try their milkshakes. They were quite thick and I took a while, at least for me, to be able to get some through the straw. Of course, that is totally OK with me, because I would rather have a milkshake which is too thick than one that is soupy. One had the cookie dough and said that he totally tasted the cookie dough in it; One had the root beer one, and though there wasn’t a strong root beer flavor, he loved the shake regardless and was done with it promptly. I had the vanilla and found it to be very good, though no better or worse than other’s I’d had before. The setting was very clean and well kept. The employees were very kind. They brought our food to the table, and upon doing so, one chicken finger dropped off the tray and onto the floor. The sweet girl was very apologetic and immediately went back to the kitchen to cook more. The young man brought a whole new batch out as soon as they were done, and was also very apologetic. We just really appreciated their quick acknowledgement, apology, and rectification of the situation. I always appreciate those who care and want to make things right. All of that said, our first impressions are all positive, and we will be going back.

DO NOT eat at Beef A Roo in Roscoe!!
My sister got a Pork Tenderloin from here and she said it tasted terrible. She ended up in the hospital with food poisoning. It took a whole week for her to start feeling better. And $1800. out of pocket. The only way we know it was from there is that is the only thing she had eaten all day. Beef A Roo is not what it used to be. DONT EAT THERE!! For your own safety.
