Our food was alright. I expected more flavor from the Halibut since it’s a $40 entree. Someone else in my group said the Beyondmeat Burger was alright. One of the grain bowls (sweet potatoes and black beans) was excellent; I would get that next time.

This restaurant is nice, but it used to be even nicer. The food is good for the most part, but lately it has been declining in quality. As just one example, I recently had their roasted half-chicken and the breast was as hard as a brick. I mentioned it to the staff and all I got was a shoulder shrug. Also, the way-too-many babies and small children with their way-too-permissive parents have turned this adult food establishment into an overpriced “Chuck E. Cheese”. You pay $120 for a bottle of wine and the next table screaming child makes you spit it out. It just isn’t what it used to be. Sad!

This place is kid friendly, great Mac and Cheese and chicken fingers. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly but the food and service are amazing. Every single dish was delicious, the presentation was outstanding. Will definitely comeback. We had an early dinner reservation because the kids but I could see a older crowd and romantic dining a bit later. They have a full bar.

Absolutely terrible food. This place has jumped the shark with the new owners having no idea how to run a restaurant. The only reason anyone goes there is their location. They need to find someone who knows how to prepare food in an active kitchen ASAP. We ordered Garganelli Bolognese that came out dry and cold. It was obviously set underneath the heat lamp for easily 20 minutes before it was served. Gross. Our medium rare hamburger arrived medium well and the crispy wings that we made it a point to emphasize arrived undercooked in an inedible. Fire your chef Bedford 234. This place will not be in business much longer if they keep serving up below average food at these prices. The bright side as we had a waitress who was absolutely amazing and incredibly apologetic but nonetheless, the food quality was completely unacceptable. They have one of the best locations in Westchester county. They better do something about their kitchen or they will not last in Bedford. Do yourself a favor and go to Truck, Lucia or simply stay home and put some frozen dinners in the microwave.

This place is an absolute gem! So hard to find great food at a reasonable price and with a non-stuffy atmosphere – Bedford 234 successfully hits all of those marks. Whether I want a nicer more intimate dinner or somewhere I can be more casually with friends or my nephews, this place meets all my needs. The Jumbo Asparagus, Spanish Octopus are killer and elevated appetizers. The Burger is my favorite burger in Westchester. All the entrees that are more elevated like the Halibut and WAgyu stake knock it out the park. And finally my favorite of all – the Mac and Cheese blows my mind every time. Highly recommend to anyone near or far!

What can I say…my experience at Bedford 234 was simply one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a very long time. All your favorite comfort foods done right in an elevated fashion. Not to mention the homey ambiance and wonderful waitstaff and new ownership. This one will definitely become a new staple of mine anytime I’m in the Bedford area. We stoped there randomly as we were driving throught the town. The service was great. Fun atmosphere. And food was delicious!!! I had warm jumbo lump crab and brown rice and qinoua bowl. Defiantly coming back!!!
