This is a small restaurant with a big delivery. We were visiting the area for the first time right after Christmas and it was a bit cold. So, we sat at the first table by the front door and felt the chill each time someone came in or left. We had lunch and everyone of us (5 adults & 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our food. I had the 3 Taco plate with one beef and two smoked pork. Wow!! Others had the cheeseburger with incrediblewafflefries, fried catfish, soup and more. The chips, cheese dip and salsa are amazing. We wanted to go back, but just didn’t have the time. I would be a regular here if I lived here. Super nice wait staff.

Greeted by cashier at the entrance, she indicated where we could seat and our waitress appeared immediately to take our drink orders and handing us menus. We got there around 11a.m, it was bustling but not packed. She let us know they were serving breakfast/dinner, which worked great for us. Food came within 15-20 minutes and was plentiful and tasty. The onion rings in particular were spot on. Crunchy light batter that stayed attached to the onion when taking a bite. Onion didn’t pull out of coating ~ always a disappointed when restaurants can’t get that right. Steak sandwiches were generous portions of breaded steak outsizing the bun, with mayo tomato and lettuce. When I asked for a to-go cup for my tea~ the serving was LARGE ~ she instead brought me a fresh cup. Reasonable pricing. We’ll be back on our next trip to town.

We went on recommendation and were told they have great breakfast. When we arrived we was told they was only service lunch and dinner, while we was waiting there was other people ordering and ordering breakfast. We were there approximately 30 minutes and still hadn’t received any food. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Only plus was the staff was nice.

As soon as we walked in it was busy and it seemed very shorted staff, which was fine. The lady with the glasses greeted us and told us to sit where we liked, we waited about 8 mins before our serve came and she was rude, how she took our drink order and walked off without asking anything else, just a rude tone all around. It looked to slow down and It took them 35 mins to bring out food, after waiting another 5 mins for a water and tea, 5$ for some Walmart fries is crazy, the burger didn’t look appealing and the there was two thin slices of bacon, for the price it was embarrassing. The whole time I tried to flag both lady’s for the check and a to go box and neither look our way, once we got it and paid the lady that greeted us at the door was asking if we wanted to have any drinks to go, she was the only one with a good attitude although she seems like she was doing most of the work. The other lady (our serve) was horrible.

PET FRIENDLY RESTAURANT. I love dogs and have had fur babies throughout my life. With the exception of service dogs (absolutely respect having them on hand), I don’t care for animals tableside in public restaurants, but today a party of 6 brought in two medium size dogs, after asking permission (not service dog identified). I was told by an employee the website says pets are allowed and that’s their policy (I couldn’t find that, maybe I overlooked it). The chicken finger basket was ok (like Cisco type) as was the patty melt. Service was a bit slow.
Since you post “no food or drink allowed” on the door, maybe add “animals are welcome” so your potential customers know. Also, it leaves one to question, if these are the dining room standards, what are the kitchen standards?

Restaurant was very busy on a Saturday morning but the staff was absolutely incredible! Our drinks stayed full, the food came out hot and fresh, and the staff was very friendly. Not sure where all the bad reviews came from, our experience was top notch!

We had a great brunch here on a Saturday morning! Food was delicious …. Service was prompt and friendly…. and the restaurant was clean and seemed fairly new. We both tried the Western Omelette with potatoes and a biscuit & gravy (on the side) and we loved it! Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast (make sure you arrive before 10:30am if you want their breakfast menu). Hopefully we’ll be back to try their lunch & dinner menu!

I went in to place an order to go. The waitress told me to hold on and went outside. I never received a menu so I had to look it up on my phone until she came back.
I placed an order for onion rings. It was about 5 dollars plus tax and I received 4 onion rings. They were delicious. Truly homemade but one of them wasn’t cooked all the way and there was raw batter on one whole onion rings. Wished they gave a bigger serving they were delicious. Service could be improved as well.

Atmosphere was pretty basic without personality. We were sat fairly quickly and ordered almost right away and got our drinks quickly, but our food took 45 minutes to come out. During that time, no one came to check on us or explain the delay. Seemed to be the same with other tables. When we got our food it was warm (not hot) and mediocre at best. The biscuit was crumbly, gravy tasted like it was made out of a packet with no seasoning, and the bacon was too salty to eat. Again, no one checked in to see how everything was or offered drink refills. Would not recommend and will not be back.
